Had the combo over rice and it was delicious! They put plenty of meat and they packed the container full. I have been here a few times and definitely recommend it. A fair warning: I would definitely not pick the spicy option though if you can't handle something like the red sauce from halal guys. Even the regular option has a little bit of spice.

Hands down the best chicken/lamb over rice in Houston. I actually live in LA and have tried many places and Noone does it like Jones. It's the flavor!

Inside has never been open when I’m there, I’ve been here 5 times at least. It’s one of the only places open late in the area, food is good but I despise when restaurants take advantage of white sauce, they barley put any on top and then 75 cents for a tiny little cup, definitely a rip off. I’m Considering finding another late night spot.

I would like to know what is the story of the white sauce, but a dropper is left on the plate, and if he wants to sell the sauce to you a second time, he will not accept it for cash, but with a card.

Had the worst experience at Jones today. I ordered four chicken and lamb over rice. After receiving my order, I noticed that both the big and small boxes had the same white sauce container. When I asked for extra sauce, they refused, stating that it would cost an additional $0.75 for each sauce, even though it should be free. Its Ramadan and I’m about to break my fast in an hour, so didn't want to argue, so I agreed to pay with my credit card. However, they said they charge a minimum of $5 for card transactions. I swear to Allah If I had cash, I would have paid just to move on but I didn't. I kept asking the manager what they wanted me to do, I’ll look stupid spending $5 on sauce despite everything the manager said I should deal with it next time bring cash or request extra sauce ahead of time. How would I know I need extra sauce in advance?? I’m deeply disappointed by how I was treated and how they made a big deal out of $0.75 where I had spent $50. I don't believe I deserved such treatment, and I urge jone management to train your staff on how to deal customers with respect. I’ll never come back and try my best friends and family not to go there anymore.

I work across from Jones Fried Chicken, and I stop here when I have time to take a lunch break. I either get the wings or the hamburger. Great prices and food comes out fresh and hot each time. The only thing I wish they would change is, that they have call-in orders. I'm limited on the time I can eat, because of my busy schedule and they take time and cook our food, it would help, other than waiting 15min on it

This was my go to halal food when we first moved here but with time, their quality has gone lower while the price increased.. I'd still like it time to time but it's definitely not the same as before.. they are open till late but keep in mind that if you go there around midnight, they either will fill up your platter like it's theirs or will only give you like the scrapes...I had ordered lamb over rice one time late at night and when i got back home, there was like hardly 1-2 spoons of the meat.. so disappointing.. I agree you might be closing soon and didnt have enough left but the courtesy is to let me know that you dont have enough left for a serving so I could have either cancelled the order or changed it into a chicken or mixed platter..I have moved since then so stopped going there up until recently like a month ago.. I had ordered lamb and they gave me chicken which I sadly noticed after coming back home.. it tasted okay though after so long but the quality/quantity has definietly been affected..I personally like chicken more in general but idk theirs taste a bit bland without all the ranch and the red sauce (it's basically thick chilli paste but i like it lol).. their chilli cheese fries used to be bomb though but sadly they are average now

They close at 4am and I just wanted some chicken over rice, got here at 3:50am, this is really disappointing. Sign should say we close at 3am not 4am, really misleading since I drive uber ?Feb 7,2020 3:50am

I have eaten here on multiple occasions the food is good but the problem is they don't always get your order correct. On my last two times eating here, months apart they have gotten my order wrong. The first time I took it as an oversight though now after a month I'm realizing it is a lack of understanding & training.

Their lamb over rice is really the only thing I get from here - super good! I used to be a fan. Food is still pretty good but I do think their spicy rice now is extremely spicy than what it used to be. The spice can mess your stomach up if you are not used to it. If you do want it spicy, I would recommend getting half regular and half spicy rice for the platter.
