Food was amazing and there’s tons of parking in the front- get crabs fingers, shrimp and grits a little greasy and salty for me, the chicharrones from the tuna was stale but they fixed it and it was amazing. The chicken skewers had skin so made it tasty, the tuna is out of this world, always try the jerk fish collars it’s out of this world. The oysters have flair but a little dry- worth trying though- all in all an amazing meal. The jambalaya balls we’re not that special for Michelin place but it was good. Total bill for 9 people $400.00

Greg was an exceptional server. We ordered crawfish and an entree to split between the two of us and he gave us our crawfish first and then entree later and we loved that he did that for us. Food was delicious, for myself a Colorado girlie I loved that they had coors on draft.

First time to the restaurant. Ordered chicken & Gumbo, and jerk rub fish collars for dinner. The food did taste great the atmosphere was great and everything felt great until I started to write a review for it.

When I go over the online photos of these beautiful dishes, I realized that all reviewers ordered the jerk rub fish collars got 3+ pieces over the years even most recently (2 weeks ago), but I was served for only 2 pieces at the same 35 dollars. I don’t mind paying more for good food, but this different treatment made me a little bit uncomfortable.

I hope this was not deliberate and I’m just over thinking it. For those who make similar orders, hope you do not run into similar surprises. But I do recommend this place to sea food lovers!

Service all good!

Happy

Good happy hour and nice open seating at the back. There used to have seasonal menu for appetizers and cocktails but it seems to go away the last 8 months when I visited.

Phenomenal meal. Everything we had was delicious. The highlight for me was the jambalaya arancini and biscuits. I can’t wait to go back for some oysters.

Decent atmosphere that was somewhat family friendly. While it was a tight fit, it seemed to work well with parties of varying sizes, so my wife and two children didn’t feel uncomfortable the duration of our dining experience.

There was quite a limited menu for the main course, which was good for someone like myself who wants to try everything, but it also increased my expectations for how tasty and well prepared everything would be.

-Shrimp and grits and the chicken on a stick were amazing - exceeded expectations.
-The chicken and andouille gumbo was decent - no complaints but nothing special.
-The hot catfish sandwich was delicious but messy. The fries on the side were delicious as well.
-Though they were fried well, the hushpuppies had zero flavor. Maybe the side sauce, or the ignorance from new visitors, keeps people ordering them.

I would certainly come back for the items that exceeded my expectations and complement them with something different - maybe some oysters and/or crabs. Overall it’s an 8.5/10 kinda joint. I’ll give it a five star for now and adjust based on my next visit.
