Best roasted corn with the best toppings! I've been going there for years and have found nothing that comes close to his roasted corn. I no longer live in Houston and always stop by when I'm in town.
I love this place. I used to come here as a kid and I’ve moved back recently. This place is still a delicious snack! I’ve now turned my “why would I want corn in a cup” husband into “is Jose’s open?”.

There is no other elote shop in tx that this one cannot top. Thier customized corn roaster does all the work and the smokiness is well infused with the corn itself. Add all the usual toppings mayo butter Parmesan cheese, spicy tajin lime and lemon pepper, and the result is the best tasting, most unhealthily good tasting corn that you’ve ever had. Once you get this one you no other elote will ever compare. Only reason for the 2star on atmosphere is that it's right beside...
