Cute lil bakery in a shopping strip. Went on a whim, about hapf an hour before they closed. They still had plenty of goods. Everything tasted delicious. So delicious in fact we went back for breakfast on the following Monday. Can’t wait to visit again.

Classic French Entremets. Not too innovative in terms of variety and flavors but well executed. Tart shells are thin (that's a good thing). Mont Blanc well balance with richness and subtle chestnut flavors. Amadine had good texture. The apple raisin roll very good. The croissants however were the least appealing. Still one of the top 5 pastry shops in Houston for sure.

My friends recommended Chez Kobayashi, and OMG!!! it was amazing! My daughter and I tried several different cakes, and everything was perfect. We totally fell in love with the place. The café latte was great too—can you believe it’s only $3.99?

Best pastry in Houston, well balanced, actually tasting French and not as sweet as typical American sweets. Owners are absolutely lovely, we were coming back regularly and it was pleasure to combine the pleasures of having a delish desert with a very friendly conversation with the lady owner. They felt like friends to our family and took real interest in us :) Downside: my son is now addicted to eclairs :D

The best pastry shop I've ever tried in Houston! My friend brought me here and this is also her fave spot for dessert! Glad I found this gem! Perfect and well balance taste and anything you get,you will surely enjoy! The passion fruit tart, (any tart honestly) strawberry shortcake, pear almond and their brie croissant sandwich is so great!! Can’t wait to go back and try more dessert! The lady who assisted us was very nice as well🙂
