Just Oxtails Soul Food ought to be ashamed of the high priced plates with that super thin cut of meat and baby sized portions. One of the reasons I formerly came here often was because of the portions that they served. I won't be returning because for $33.36 a plate I should have had more food.

My sister ordered these to go. I was very surprised because the oxtails were very small not what it looks like when you buy them and cook them at home. They were a little tough and I was not sure what part of the Oxtail this was from. My experience was not favorable my recommendation is to buy your own and cook them at home.

This place is a hidden Gem food amazing.. should be more people hitting this spot I promise it’s worth the drive and worth all the food the employees are really nice and take pride in the food they serve you…everything was made with love and season to perfection.. if I stayed closer to Houston I would have this everyday

This place is old, nasty, and run down. Customer service is just as bad. There's no way this place passes food and cleanliness inspections by the FDA. Do better as a community and take pride in our food establishments.

Eat at your own risk! We had ox tails...well more like calf tails because I've never had an ox tail that small. For $30 a plate we should have had a full ox tails. The ox tail pan was old, you can tell so she had to go to the back for a fresh pan. Glory greens should be against the law! What happened to people cooking fresh greens!?? Then the building, the building is so old, I get it but why not put some TLC in to it. Like, a little paint goes a long way!! Ceiling looks like it'll drop on your head! No curtains, no blinds! Just some tables and tvs...drink machines are all out of order, even though i wouldn't drink anything from them. This is why its so hard to support our people! We got to do better!! If the dining room looked like an abandoned building I can ONLY imagine what that damn kitchen looks like. Wish Marvin Zindler was still alive!

$30 for a plate of oxtails that were small and didn’t give you many in entree. They were good but very small and the ladies skimp on serving the amount. Not worth the amount and won’t return. Find another soul food place to go where you’ll get more bang for your buck.

So rude and disrespectful I paid over $100 for my food , Rice was Mushy like mashed potatoes, macaroni cheese didn’t have no cheese to it look like it’s been sitting there Since they open , Oxtails were standing and they only gave me four and I spent over $100 for two meal , Cole took a complaint. Talk to someone. Very rude very disrespectful Customer service . Speak to the manager, and he still didn’t care I do not recommend a spot to anyone .
