I ordered a gluten free sandwich. I was informed it only came in a small size. Every single location I've ever been to has one size of gluten free bun. However, if you order a medium or large, they will add more meat to the sandwich. I told her I wanted a medium and she told me there would be an upcharge for extra meat. I explained to her how it is at every other location and she informed me that this store doesn't do that. I asked to speak to the manager, but she claimed she couldn't find him.

There are schlots and schlots of reasons to eat here.Actually, I do like Schlotzsky's, and I thoroughly enjoyed it the first couple of times I tried it, one of which was over in Austin.So I do like to come here and get their olive-infused sandwiches, but this is not my top location, and I do think that this one doesn't always make things fresh or with love lol.Some locations are definitely better than others. Still glad it's here.

I've loved this sandwich since I was 15 years old, ( I am 58 now). It's a delicious mix of flavors, fresh bread, gooey cheese and just a delight to eat. I always heat it up more and get the cheese nice and hot and a bag of BBQ chips, some broccoli/cheese soup, Wow, I am in Heaven.

I am literally mind-blown this place has good reviews. I ate there maybe 10 times in 90 days when I was working very close to this location. Other locations are fine but this one is gross, not friendly, more gross and not super accurate.The inside isn't all that clean, they are often out of very basic things. Their drink cooler is also usually missing a lot of the options.There is usually one employee and one cook from what I have seen. I don't think they care about what they are doing or anything else.It's like it's overall neglected so badly they can't fix it in one shift so they just do the bare minimum during their shifts is the only way i can think to describe it.I got the app and everything when I was going super often - I will say the app was awesome, free sandwich, lots of rewards - changed and earned frequently. So disappointing this place was so bad. I wouldn't have been back so many times but at the time, it was this or Chilis. I suppose the first few times I came here I didn't notice how bad it was either - i would place an order on the app and pick it up.It was when I'd order a hot item or be waiting longer I would notice how bad the inside was.

It's always sad to me when businesses start to go down hill. I hope that the owner/manager works on a solution. As of lately, this location isn't where it used to be. Employees don't have the same care. They goof around and not get going on the orders. The location used to be pristine but now tables aren't wiped on, floors are filthy, and the kitchen looks a mess. I hope that they get back to where they used to be

I live 4 blocks away so once night I was craving a good sammich and needed to drop off some stuff at the goodwill so I came here. I got the turkey bacon club which is something I've been getting for at least the last 20 years. I ordered a medium and the young lady actually made me a large. It just wasn't fresh if you get what I'm saying. Not sure if it was because it was closing time but yuck. I might come back to get my Cinnabon fix ONLY as there are far too many restaurants on Westheimer to try.
