We drove 14 hours for a concert in Houston and an hour before we got to the hotel, they cancelled our reservation. I'm a Bonvoy member, made my reservation directly online with the hotel and 13 hours into my trip, they cancelled my trip. I called the front desk and they said they couldn't help me. I called the reservation line and they put us in another hotel. A 2 star hotel, not a comparable 4 star hotel. They also charged us market rate. I'll be making all my future reservations with Hilton.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. It was as if we were family arriving home. The valet & front desk were so friendly & welcoming. Our room was literally spotless with an amazing view!! The lounge provided such a relaxing environment. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The food was hot & fresh. I can’t possibly say enough about the bar staff. Nada & her coworker were on point!! The service was prompt & with a smile. The drinks were amazing!! The spa has this lovely area where you can create your own bath salts or bubble bath. We had so much fun coming up with different scents. Lastly one must not forget Logan & shadow. Logan shuttled us around in shadow on several different occasions. His service was always prompt and professional. It’s so nice to have that available. Truly a wonderful weekend & we will most definitely be back.Rooms: SpotlessWalkability: It’s downtown & offers a shuttle within a 5 mile radiusFood & drinks: The breakfast buffet is delicious. The bar staff is knowledgeable & seems to truly enjoy the job.

Was staying at a nearby Marriott and decided to pop in for a drink and a bite to eat, so glad I did! I got the steak fajitas which was flavorful and tender. The cocktails were amazing, complex and boozy, just the way I ordered it! The customer service is what really made this property stand out; everyone was professional, friendly and attentive, particularly Karen, the lead bartender and Kenneth, who was working with her that night. Would definitely recommend!

The red head broad at the front is absolutely the most rudest absolute rudest Receptionist i've ever met. Not only did Was there no greeting she straightforward told me to leave without wanting to know anything about me as a guest enjoying my morning walk.The tired redhead has to go!!!

Stayed with my wife at JW for 3 nights in a deluxe king suite (1015). I was very impressed with the service at this property from check-in to check-out. Our Room was very clean and worth the cost per night. A few marks were missed on ordering room service with some less than stellar in-room dining, but after a conversation with the F&B Manager Patrick; he met my expectations and exceeded them with an exceptionally fresh and delicious wake up experience. The bell desk service was prompt and always willing to offer a hand; Jose was so kind that we always requested him to handle any of our needs. Valet service is very fast in retrieving our vehicle as well. If I ever visit Houston again, this property would be an immediate go to option with no hesitation in booking. To all the hard working staff, thank you for an incredible stay!

Used one of my suite night upgrade for an executive suite. Great size room with a four person dinning table. Concierge lounge was a great size. Snacks were okay, and the hors d’oeuvres in the evening were all pleasant but could be taken up a notch a little. However, I love coffee and this property has the best espresso machine accompanied by syrups out of all the Marriott properties I have been to. I don’t drink syrup in my coffee but it was still done well. I will definitely stay here again in the future!Walkability: So many things within a 5-10 minute walk.
