What happened to Kaneyama?? Phones are not connected and building is always closed. Could use an update.

Placed an order online, went through, went to store, completely closed. Called the number, out of service. There was two other groups of people there as well wondering what was going on. Outrageous, and honestly the fact that the order went through and now I’m not able to get in touch with anyone just makes me think maybe something else is going on. But hey, I’m just someone who eats at restaurants a lot, what would I know...

Fresh and traditional comfortable seating and friendly service. Parking is also not an issue. They have a good menu selection and has been around for a very long time.

I've eaten here for about two to three years and it used to be great but then I think they changed management. I live in California for college but came back to visit my parents for the summer and thought it'd be nice to come and get some good sushi. The fish wasn't cold, the pieces tasted kind chewy and not fresh, and overall found a fly literally in my sushi??? Don't wanna come back and I don't feel good.

The food there is extraordinary from the display to the taste. Best ramen in town! I love ramen and have tried several hot restaurants like Jinya, Fat Bao, Tiger Den. But none of those is even close to Kaneyama. Once you taste the soup you can tell it is made with bone soup instead of some mixtures. The restaurant has several tatami rooms which makes it a very special place for group parties.

This is a great place for sushi. The servers are friendly and attentive, and the menu has a wide variety.

The quality of the Japanese salad is mediocre. The recipe have changed and it's not for the better. Told, I'm guessing the manager, he said he'll go and ask them and never did he come back. Poseidon roll is measly and not as robust. Prices are higher and the taste has gone downhill. Very disappointed even though the scallop nigiri is nice and I used to consider this to be one of my favorite places i will not come back.

Not really worth it for the price. The food is just OK. Not completely horrible but not a place I'd waste time and money visiting again. The soup they gave me was near boiling and I burned myself pretty bad. You can find better ramen and fried rice anywhere for half the price. Okonomiyaki is also not on their menu like Google suggest.

Been coming here for over 20 years - wonderful, clean, delicious food and nice staff. Love the Tofu and Veggie Tempura!
