My favorite roaster in Houston. I'm always excited to stop by for a new bag because they have a wide variety of beans and they offer a complimentary coffee! Every bag I've tried has been delicious and the price for quality is great. I'm also new to home espresso and the staff have been very helpful recommending beans and answering my questions.

I didn't know they gave coffee for free. It was wild to me. The summer selection I chose was a mango match later with coconut foam. Taste great, but I didn't taste any mango. More coconut and matcha. But still the music was on point and the decor like an old man set the place up. It looked vintage. It had a nice vibe to it.

Recently, I researched outlets to purchase freshly roasted coffee beans. Katz had some positive reviews on Reddit so despite the 40mins drive in traffic, I visited their roasting house with the intention of tasting and trialling before purchase. Unfortunately, I was pushed for time and hastely made a purchase of 2 x 2lb freshly roasted beans. I did not check the purchase till arriving home and noted the decaf was also 2lb despite my request for the smaller size. By Monday, I tried the beans and was bitterly disappointed and phoned Katz. I spoke at length to Carla who promised to follow up. The service was beyond my. expectations! Not only was I given a refund but had 2 x 2lb freshly roasted alternate coffee beans delivered to my door the following day free of charge with an additional follow up call to ensure the delivery had arrived. I was so impressed by the service of a company who stands by their products and whose intention is to ensure that the customer is satisfied no matter the cost. Congrats Katz for your integrity and customer concern! I will defintely be back!

This was our second visit to this coffee place, and once again, they made my matcha perfectly. Our barista, Mischelle, and another friendly barista (I forgot his name) were very kind and welcoming. Great drinks and great service every time!☺️☺️☺️☺️
I had a bag pop on me and they replaced the whole order, we've been getting Katz coffee for years and that was the one and only time I've ever had a problem. This company is amazing, coffee is out of this world good and customer service is wonderful. Thank you

I’m sorta new to drinking matcha so take it with a grain of salt but this is one of the best matchas I’ve had.
I tried the honey brown sugar pistachio matcha and woah. Please someone try it and tell me if I’m crazy? Or if there’s better matcha around?
