Katz is consistent and reasonably priced. Service can vary as with this particular visit. Our server was a little absent, but we did choose to sit outside whereas the majority of people were inside... nevertheless the spinach artichoke dip is delicious. I got the French dip which was slightly bland, and as you'll see in the picture, I never got the au jus. My husband had a shrimp dish and it was all delicious.. I had the Keylime martini because the server said it was unique to Katz deli.. it was OK.

I have to retract my previous five stars. A subsequent visit with a party of six resulted in sub-par service. I blame the required 18% gratuity (for a party of six or more) added to the bill. If the server knows they're getting 18% there's little incentive for good service. We will still go there, just not with the kids and grand-kids. Which is a little sad because outside of that it was great. They do have good food. For $200 worth of drinks and sandwiches I expect better service. *sigh*

I really liked this place. I went early in the morning and was concerned about security, but the parking lot was well lit. The decor inside and outside was very nice. I liked the classic diner decor and the bar in the middle. Food and service were also good and the price was reasonable.

This place was truly amazing. The efficiency of the staff Gabby handled our table order and did not drop the ball. The food was 10 out of 10. Everything was delicious. The quality of the food was on point. We definitely will be back.

Overall, Katz is well done. But this is my 2nd time, and I've been there more than twice, that food was not hot. I had spaghetti and the sauce was runny. Others times the food was excellent, hors d'oeuvres and drinks were on par. The outside seating is great! So I guess my only complaint is the food not being hot and that's a big negative for me.

I went at 6am because I was flying out later and needed to get out of my hotel room. It looked like the best option that was open that morning and it did not disappoint. Liz was my server, she was kind, and attentive while still giving me my space and time to wake up. She was right on time with coffee refills and took great care of me. I got the Philly cheese steak omelette with potatoe pancakes and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The omelette was perfect along with the potato pancakes. The bagel was toasted perfectly and the cream cheese was whipped so it was soft and spreadable. I'll make it a regular place to go when I'm in town. Thank you, Liz and the kitchen staff, breakfast was great 👍
Service is really slow at this location. The place wasn't even busy and it seemed like we had to keep asking for the same thing. Also, one of the waitresses said an inappropriate comment to my baby that happened to be crying a few times. I hope the new memorial city location is not like this one.

Came late for dessert around 10:45pm. Took awhile to place an order. Then took 10 minutes to bring a slice of carrot cake. Only came by to take order, drop off the carrot cake and to bring the bill.

First time at this location and I must say I was impressed it was clean and the service wasn’t bad she just wasn’t that attentive to our table but on point with the food so I can’t complain to bad the bathroom was cleaned and fresh smelling that was a plus for me as well.
