The star is for how the chicken used to be ; now there’s just no breading and it’s completely dried out or completely wet and greasy no in between . Extremely rare to find a friendly person anymore at the drive thru . Just went downhill fast and I’m not sure what to do ; I still go but it’s only when I get a sale and rarely do I go even then which I feel that’s ultimately what the staff there want .

First when I walked in no one attempted to even greet me … I had to yell out hello just to get some attention no one came until they where done fratenizing behind the counter. Laughing and talking like it’s there first day of highschool. They need to higher a leader with structure. Horrible customer service.Order online to get there ten minutes after and food still wasn’t ready .. which was supposed to be at 7:05 didn’t get food until 7:21 pm …..

I went on Tuesday July 15 2025 at 9:30 pm and wanted 2 buckets of original chicken recipe. The cashier taking my order kept making excuses on why they couldn’t make that order ,it’s going to be a 30 minute wait. I said that’s fine ,then she said we don’t have leg and thigh only breast At that point I knew she was just making excuses and I called her out on it told her stop making excuses I said I’ll wait the 30 minutes and she said ok . She told me pull around up front ,while I was in front they locked the door and kept turning customers away . Get this KFC this location doesn’t close till 10:30 it was 9:35 when they locked the door and were turning customers away

food its the best at kingwood i live at houston and i try it all most alot of places because my job its driving all the surroounding houston areas i doing it for 30 years and its incredible i got no idea whats the problem with the kfc at houston that chicken pcs are real bad tasteless and very greasy let me tell you something if i have to drive 1 hr to get my chicken at kingwood i will do that for sure

Food was great. It came out fast and it was very good. If I could give the service a 0 star I would. The lady who took our order had no reason to give us an attitude. She either needs to find a new job or stop with the attitude. She seemed like everything was a inconvenience to her even though it’s her job. All we did was order our food and asked for a bowl plus sauce. I’m sorry that was so difficult to do.

I normally like KFC. But. Do yourself a huge favor - even if you're in the mood for chicken I *promise* you will enjoy the chicken nuggets at Taco Bell more than anything from this KFC. Take my advice and head on next door to save yourself some potential discomfort!
The building itself is in rough condition and the lot is always empty. The drive thru staff is half-asleep on a good night, impolite on others, and as the only car in the entire drive thru, I've been parked and forced to wait for my order. Last night I only ate part of my meal, the chicken had an unusual sliminess that had be double checking that each piece was actually cooked all the way through. I will not be coming back to this store.
To be fair, I never expect a ton out of a fast food restaurant, and I'm good with sacrificing a little quality for convenience. But when you have a super clean Taco Bell next door with friendly staff, it makes sense that this KFC parking lot is always empty!
