Today was the first time me n my family went here and let's just say... BEST PLACE IVE BEEN TO IN AWHILE!!! The food amazing, the service was all about that wonderful southern hospitality n make you feel like family. Best belive we will be back.
The food was good, but the price change daily, if paying with a card ,5 dollars is added automatically. I purchased 2 piece fish and a shrimp poboy. The sauce on the poboy was to sweet, buy the fish was good

I should have left this review a few year's ago when they opened. I went in the first week, at first I thought it was pricey, but where is food cheap anymore NO WHERE. So it's priced reasonable for the time we live in and what they offer. I read a few of the comments which absolutely make 0 sense to me. I have loved in this neighborhood most my life and the quality of food they offer is phenomenal. I have been to the homestead location at least 7-10 times. I did meet the owner who was fabulous when I first went in. The staff is awesome also. Thank you for giving the North side a good spot to eat and drink. I have tried several items, but my favorite is the catfish with the topping...OMG 😱 just thinking about it is making me hungry. Y'all continue to bring great food and people to our neighborhood and we will support you.

Wow! They are kickin. I was in the parking lot & called for a small gumbo & it was very good. I called them back to inquire. Did I make this? I will definitely go back for quick service & good food. Lady Trish 👍

Very disappointed, decided to try this spot, we walked in and there was no other costumers so we expected the wait time to be short, we ordered our food 1 burger and 6 wings ended up waiting for 40min, I tried to ask someone how much longer since we had to leave but never saw someone at the counter again. So we ended up leaving without our food.
