Ordered to go twice: Christmas Eve for in-laws and Dec 28 for my sister’s family. Unlike competitor nearby chains, they got the order right the first time! Food was hot and easy to serve; and online ordering was a breeze. Pro tip: if something is sold out online, ask in person to see if they have any left on hand.

THEY HAVE THE GIANT BEEF RIBS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!! DINO PLATE BEEF RIBS. so hard to find in a search on Google. I typed it so many ways and it didn't tell me easily. It's 43 dollars and more than enough for a few ppl. Very awesome.

Horrible experience. Our server was extremely rude and unprofessional, making a comment why I didn’t order an alcoholic beverage. Also he threw other jabs at us throughout the night, which we all thought was unnecessary and rude.
Fried chicken was very dry and tasteless.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat in Houston. Service is always on point and food is served hot. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and crispy.

Reached out a week ago for catering. A week later still no response or anyone that answers the phone!

I was craving a mouth-watering experience with Killen’s brisket and ribs. Before my food arrived, I asked the bartender about the brisket, and he mentioned that Killen’s sources it from a distributor with a special type of brisket. When our food finally came, I had to request barbecue sauce and bread since they don’t come with the meal. They arrived shortly after, and I eagerly dove into the brisket.
The brisket had a charred coating as expected, but unfortunately, it wasn’t premium or high-quality beef. It lacked seasoning and was a bit dry, quickly diminishing my mouth-watering anticipation. The rib I order wasn’t ribbing whatsoever and I refused to eat it. Despite the high praise this barbecue spot has received, my expectations were not met, and Killen’s fell short of the mark.
On the bright side, the mac and cheese, beans, and potato salad were delicious, but I came for the barbecue, not the sides. Overall, my experience left me disappointed, and while the price point might be reasonable for what you get, I won’t be returning.
No thanks, Killen’s.

Don’t sleep on this place! Very unassuming from the outside but inside the place is amazing. Tons of great drink options and the food is really high quality barbecue.

Just got the glazed pork belly appetizer, but it was delicious! Server was very attentive, and there was a lot of parking! Not busy for a Sunday brunch

Really good service and vibe. Food was also great but parts of the brisket we got were slightly on the dry side. Perhaps it's when we went as it seemed like the brisket had been sitting for a bit. Some of the best brussel sprouts I've ever had.

The waiter was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the service.

The food was not on par with what I expected from the name.

I had the two-meat plate with spicy sausage and brisket. I asked for very moist brisket and got very dry brisket. The sausage was just okay. But it wasn't cuttable with a butter knife, and that's all they gave me

The other three people in my party ordered the brisket enchiladas. They were not impressed.

There were two items that kept me from giving the food a review of two stars.

The brussel sprouts were incredible. Roasted perfectly with lots of crunchies.

For dessert, we all split a piece of the carrot cake. Warm and moist and just about the best carrot cake i've had.

I'd go back just for the dessert. But I wouldn't order the brisket again.

This is my opinion. My opinions are based on my knowledge and experiences. Other people may have different experiences and different opinions.
