Great for a night out. Had the New York Strip, with the Mac and Cheese. Dessert was a Carrot Cake. Food was beautiful presented, and the atmosphere was nice.

Oh my gosh some of the best bbq I’ve had in Houston! You’ve got to try the short rib entree. Shane was our server & he was GREAT! ?

Everything was great at dinner great service delicious drinks and pork belly was awesome. The only complaint was jalapeños corn pudding tasted spoiled and when our food was packed to go half our beef rib was missing!
STQ is always a great go-to for us. A neighborhood gem! This time we ordered several appetizers as our starters and entrees - the brisket enchiladas were amaaaaazing and the bacon wrapped shrimp were also wonderful! We usually go straight for the steak, but mixed it up a bit. If you're a steak lover, splurge for the Wagyu flight (off menu)...it's delicious and fun to compare the different beef by area. Also, the ceaser salad is one of the best in the city. Carrot cake and crème brûlée cheesecake are unmatched. Killen's has their own rye whiskey - try it in an old fashioned. Anthony was our server this time and he provided an elevated experience! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Atmosphere, service, presentation and flavor were perfect. Can't wait to return. My wife had the chicken fried ribeye and I had the salmon. The ribeye was good but the salmon was absolutely perfect. Probably sacrilegious to have fish at Killen's but it was perfect.

I'm hoping they were just having an off night due to them being closed this past Friday (no power because of the tornado). My husband and I dined at STQ the last time we were in town and everything about it was amazing! This time the entire meal was bad. We ordered the biscuits and pork belly as appetizers. The pork belly was not as good as last time. For the entree we split the STQ burger medium well, with the fries and loaded mashed potatoes. The burger was cooked well done and extremely dry and not seasoned. We asked for mayo and ketchup but it didn't help much. The loaded mashed potatoes were so cold that the cheese and butter didn't melt and the fries were okay. The only good things at dinner were the Moscato, biscuits and the young man running valet. Our server was okay but didn't check on us once we received our food to see if everything was good and seemed to forget about us once our order was in. We didn't eat the food, so we left to go to another restaurant. Overall it was not worth the money we spent but again I'm hoping they were just off this Saturday (5/18). We don't plan to visit again to see if that's the case.
This place combines a high an end steakhouse and BBQ into a gorgeous fusion to tantalize your senses. To start we had the burnt ends and the oysters. They were perfect. We imbibed on their House Barrel Manhattans while enjoying the starters. The wine selection was impressive, however Cab lovers will have to spend a little more for the quality selections on their Cabernet Sauvignon menu. I found a satisfactory bottle on the interesting reds list to meet the expectations of my taste and budget. Our Filet Mignons arrived and they were spectacular! The sides of brussel sprouts, bone marrow, and BBQ fries did not disappoint! All in all it was a delicious treat!
The enchilada and ravioli with truffles are favorite appetizers and not to be missed. Australian Wagyu tomahawk special was fantastic. Carrot cake is always a treat. Great food, knowledgeable service in a relaxed atmosphere.
It was my first visit.I split a sandwich and a sausage link with my friend. The sliced beef sandwich was good, the sausage link was okay. The cashier shorted me $4 when I paid with cash. The atmosphere was okay.I probably won’t go back.
