The best place to get fried tofu if you are located near the downtown area. The tofu is made fresh and packed the same day. The fried tofu will run at $2.75 a package. We use these for a variety of Vietnamese soups, especially Bun Tieu. They also sell the block tofu here as well.It is CASH ONLY.They are closed on Wednesday per the owner. The windows are heavily tinted and there is not a sign that shows when they are open. Be sure to knock on the door super loud if it is locked.

I've been buying freshly made tofu and soy milk from them for many years. This is a family run business and so happy to see they managed to stay opened throughout the last two years. A must stop for all the vegetarians in midtown

Tofu fiends rejoice! If you are lazy and love tofu this may be the place for you. Now full transparency it took me a few tries to catch them when they were open. You have to get their early (ie before noon) and even then they may be closed. I parked directly in front of the hair salon and since the pick up is quick I didn't pay for parking (risk is up to you). I walked up to the door a super friendly guy answered and told me my options were fresh or fried tofu and soy milk. They make all their tofu and milk in house and I believe they supply to many restaurants in the area. I opted for the fried but I would likely try the fresh next time. Now I wouldn't use fried tofu every day but if you want to make a banh mi or spring rolls or a quick stir fry at home this is a nice alternative to pressing and cooking your own tofu. Give them a try, BRING CASH, and maybe call before hand!

Wow! So glad there was one review of this place by Christopher V (thank you so much!) otherwise I would never have ventured out to try this place. I love Kim phat brand soymilk in Chinatown, it's a tad pricier than other brands (San San, banyan) but it's always fresh, and now I can get it in midtown without having to drive all the way to Chinatown, at the source where it's made. Super awesome. This place is literally a little factory, and they only sell 3 items: soymilk (sweet/unsweetened), firm tofu, and fried tofu. I saw some green soymilk (pandan I'm guessing) in the fridge, but didn't see it on the menu. Anyway, the lady was very kind and friendly, albeit not having very good English. I learned to ask for the "no sugar" soymilk instead of "unsweetened" because she was confused the first time. Cash only. Anyway, great place to pick up some fresh soymilk and tofu if you're in the area!

If you want fresh Tofu, fried tofu, and soy bean drink, this is the place to go. They manufacture their tofu from scratch at the location everyday. Their prices are very reasonable. They supply all the Asian restaurants in that area with their hand-made tofu. Since they are a manufacturer and wholesaler that supply the restaurants and grocery stores in Houston and the surrounding areas, only the people who know of this place come to buy retail from them. I highly recommend their tofu and soy bean drink.
