We had not been to the Kim Son Vietnamese restaurant on Jefferson for several years. We were driving through downtown Houston so we stopped in. We normally went to the location on the SW freeway in Stafford that was close to our home. It is a shame that it closed because the greedy landlords raised the rent by too much to stay there and be profitable. Sad that downtown is less safe and glad they have a security guard. The dim sum is a must—fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. I also highly recommend the salt & pepper shrimp and the pho, which had a rich, savory broth.
