Although service was great, food tasted like it was prepackaged and frozen. I expected better quality. Very thin ribeye and grilled shrimp was way overcooked (microwaved?) I would not return.

We had Christmas dinner reservations here. It was packed because it's was one of very few things open that day in the area. 20 minutes after our reservation we finally got to sit. Our waitress was great but the food was just ok and came out cold.

I like this place definitely gave a rustic steakhouse vibe. For starters we tried the quail and crabcake. We didnt get a pic of the quail but it was so delicious, the crabcake was too! I had the 8oz center cut filet with the oscar topping suggested by our server & my partner had the blackened red fish. Everything was so good! I had 2 cocktails they were very good! BEWARE they were very strongšŸ˜‹ overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

My first time going and I had great food. I had brisket, ribs, beans, great potato salad, and a baked potato. I haven't logged into OpenTable since I've been, do I forgot our server's name. She was at least 6ft tall and she was very attentive but not lingering. The date wanted carrot cake and I didn't plan on eating any, yet I had a quarter of it. I was impressed. I'll have to go again sometime šŸ™‚

Place looks great, and its located in a nice area. I wish I could say the same about the food and service. We asked for the 3 meat BBQ plate. Brisket was mostly fat, ribs were way over cooked/burned, sausage was good, coleslaw was mediocre, fries were good, asked for a side of Mac and cheese and it was cold as it had been sitting around for a bit, even my coke zero was flat. My wife's stake was not cooked the term she asked for, asked for the queso and brisket and came with a small pinch of meat lol very disappointed. As far as service. Our waitress was mostly talking and eating at the opposite end of the restaurant.

We had a reservation, but it took 30 minutes to be seated. Saw multiple people just leave while waiting. The bar staff is substantially understaffed. Took over 15-20 minutes to get a glass of wine. Table staff tried to do a good job, but they were obviously spread too thin as well. Manager and front of house looked frazzled. Unfortunately, won't be back because the food was actually pretty good.

Best server, she was great. Rib eye steak was the worst, compared to all the Houston restaurants and steak houses I have visited this was the worst rib eye I've ever had. Full of gristle and not very fresh. My husband ordered ri9bs and he enjoyed them. I should have ordered the ribs. Our guest ordered a hamburger and she was not impressed, and had a stom ach ache all night after dinner

Editing my below review, as the manager Beverly called me and apologized profusely for the situation, and asked that we please give them another chance. We did so, and Beverly and our survey Leo ensured that we had a lovely experience. They greeted us warmly, were friendly and helpful, and the food was wonderful. Thank you Beverly and Leo for making us feel welcome - it goes such a long way.

We came here for our wedding anniversary, and noted that when we made our reservation. We were sat in a very noisy area, next to people watching videos on their phones without headphones. Service was fine but not friendly, food was good. I got up to use the restroom at the end of the meal and saw that there was a whole other dining space with private booths, and other couples there looking like they were celebrating. I went to the hostess and said that I just noticed this other area, and that since it was our anniversary I was wondering why we weren’t seated there or at least somewhere quieter. A manager walked over and told me that he thought our seats were fine. I asked why they ask about special occasions on the reservation form and he said ā€œbecause we offer dessert when it’s a birthday or an anniversaryā€. I told him we didn’t receive that offer and he said ā€œoh, well they do it sometimes.ā€ I asked if it was because we are a same sex couple and he said no. I of course still tipped 20% but will not be returning. The overall experience was strange.

From the spotless dining room to our server’s spot-on recommendations, everything just worked. The drinks were delicious, the food was even better, and the whole experience felt easy and genuinely welcoming. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how good dining out can be when people care—and it shows. We left happy, full, and already planning a return visit.

Our food was great, steak was excellent, brisket was a bit overcooked and very hard. Sides were great. Table host could do better. Didn't refill our water glass or ask for refill of coke.
