I order schnitzel. It probably was day before and was warmed. Did not taste good. Very disappointed.

Limited menu just Poor.blaming on storm. Confronted me about review. While we were leaving. Nothing she could do. Already served bad food. This just poor management. I still tip 20% Prediction close by January 1 2025. Do better.

This place has really gone down hill. They were practically empty on a Saturday evening. They had no frozen drinks, a small menu that is nowhere near as big and nice as the normal menu ( literally only like 12 items) and they had a sign that said the patio was closed for maintenance. No more live music on the weekends. Pretty sure this place will close down in the next 2-6 months. If you want to get the real experience, go to the league city restaurant, cuz you will be sorely disappointed here.

Hated the food. Beer is good. Patio is under maintenance and they dont serve their regular menu yet - which I wish they'd update online. Never going back.

I love this place!! We were told by waitress that they were closed for 12 days because of the storm and they almost closed. I will be heartbroken if they do. Service is consistent. Unfortunately due to storm they have a limited menu but at least the limited menu items are still great.

Love the place, but menu and hours have changed post beryl, seems less food focus, more beer focus for now. I liked their food, though, so I hope they bring more options back.
It was the second time we went there. First time was in 2021 and we were excited. The food, the beer and the service were just great. It was the best German food I have tasted outside of Germany, (I'm German) especially the pork shank was very good.
When we came back in August 2024 it was very disappointing. First disappointment was that they "because of the hurricane"??? offered only a reduced menu for the food and the beer with only a handful of options. When ordering one of the very limited beers from the menu they were out of it. Instead, he offered me a beer that I liked even better und would have ordered, but it wasn't on the menu. The same happened when trying to order a (different) the second beer.
Left with only a few options we had a sausage sampler as a starter, which was ok, just ok. As entrees we went the wiener schnitzel. When we ordered the waiter explained that we could get the "Jaeger" sauce and make it a Jaegerschnitzel. Again, this option was not to find on that reduced menu. I wonder why the even printed the menus, if they all wrong.
The schnitzels were a huge disappointment. Never had such bad schnitzel.
The highlight of the disappoints was the check. The price for the food and the beer was ok, but they added a 25% "Bierfest" gratitude, which drove the check beyond $160 for a party of three.
We will never go there again.

Food was mediocre at best. We had the schnitzel which was ok but the sides (sauerkraut and potato salad) were flavorless. Menu was extremely limited and the choices were very basic. There was plenty of room with ample seating.

We live nearby and got food to go from here at least once a week. The menu has been drastically pared back and none of our favorites made the cut. Unfortunately, we won't be back until they get back to a full menu...hopefully soon!

my first time here. the entire barstaff just ignored me. maybe it's single guy syndrome i don't know. but when they look at you, ignore you, and walk away, not a good feeling. i flagged a waitress to wake up the barstaff and they were still careless.

What is going on in here? Food rationing? Half the menu unavailable. Tiny portions. Music way out of character.
Send help.

Limited menu available post hurricane Beryl. We ordered a couple of schnitzels, pretzels, and beer and all were served quickly. I hope Kings survives, such a fun place.
