Good sushi, but the chefs 8 course for two is a complete waste of money. The fish sushi was very good, and the chef was great, but the service otherwise was extremely subpar. All non-fish items tasted very poor, and the inclusion of a simple rice bowl at the end of the ‘8-course’ for two was outright a waste of money and rude.
Staff rudely tell you when you walk in that you only have 1.5hrs and there is no explanation at all on the course for two which items are included. Frankly felt like you’re getting tossed some leftovers. Overall go to Uchi or Kami for good sushi, this place is a waste of money

Delicious sushi, friendly service, and immaculate vibes! I knew it was going to be a great night when I heard Tame Impala vinyl playing. Their donburi rice bowls and temaki hand rolls were amazing. Don’t forget to order the Kakigori shaved ice for dessert. Bar seating only. Will definitely come back again!

Some really fantastic bites here, favorites included the Mushroom Temaki and the Ikura + sake rice bowl set. Didn’t get pictures of those, but the Chu-toro and white fish sashimi (pictured) were also great. Hotate crudo was another standout, so much so that I asked for a bit of sushi rice to soak up the remaining sauce. I might have thrown the staff a bit of a curveball with that one, but they handled this oddball request wonderfully. Thanks for a great experience, we’ll be back!
Small, cozy restaurant. I wish the portions were just a little bigger, but that just made every bite more precious. I haven't had quality toro like this in a long time since I came to Houston...thanks for a wonderful experience!

I Disappointing from start to finish. The service was painfully slow and poorly timed. To top it off, we were told we had to leave before even being offered dessert because our time was up for the next seating.
The tasting menu was forgettable and lacked creativity or flavor. With so many incredible dining options in Houston, there’s no reason to waste time or money on a mediocre experience like this.
