Kira is a certified hit! I did the 7 course chef's tasting and every course was delicious. The lobster hand roll was hands down my favorite, the shitake mushroom hand roll was my least favorite (it wasn't bad , it just wasn't as good as the other rolls). The dessert was also really delicious. I definitely reccomend checking Kira out if you like high end sushi.

Came to celebrate my birthday with some friends and had the absolute best time with amazing food, service, and wine. We did the 7 course chef's selection and were pleasantly surprised by the premium selections in it! This is definitely one of Houston's best restaurant openings.

The comfort & flow of the dining experience here is so relaxed as to appear effortless or nonchalant. Our 90 minute chef curated meal revealed a professional staff that is operating as if they had been doing it for a long time. The staff is clearly well trained in the techne of their craft, but everyone was so warm & friendly as if we were long time regulars revealing a keen understanding of top notch hospitality. The food, well...we loved it all, but the lobster hand...
