Hands down the best sushi in H-Town. The Sashimi Sampler (and honestly everything else we had) was superb. The server gave recommendations and the otoro was to die for. Beer, sake, and whiskey were excellent. This is the place, hands down, no debate.
The restaurant was pretty empty, which was so surprising! This is definitely a hidden gem! The food and the drinks were amazing ? The enoki butter was surprisingly a soup dish but it was packed with so much flavor. All of the fish cuts were generous and extremely fresh. The cherry on top is the cost for the quality. I will definitely be returning.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the service was quite slow, even though the place was nearly empty. It took 30 minutes to receive just two rolls. The food was good, though that may have been because I was getting hungry. I wouldn’t recommend dining here if you’re short on time.
