ā NEVER. EVER. AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!!!. š¤¢š The guy at the front counter was nice ā bless his heart ā but thatās where the good part ends. I ordered an enchilada kolache that was supposed to be heated, but it came out cold. I figured, okay fine, Iāll deal with it.
Halfway through eating, I feel something strange in my mouthā¦ I pull it outā¦ and itās a stand of BLACK HAIR in the food. šš¤® I literally froze mid-bite. My stomach dropped. My brain short-circuited.
You cannot imagine the horror of realizing youāve been chewing on someoneās hair. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. Thereās NO amount of anything that can erase that moment from my mind.
I always enjoy my Kolache any time of the day. It's budget friendly. My only warning is check your points if you are a member. Mine didn't register.

Food: really enjoyed the jalapeƱo poppers and chorizo egg cheese. The sausage egg n cheese is also good and Iād recommend that over the potato ones. Korean croissant was a little too sweet and my sister loved the spinach. Overall, delicious ones you can choose from!
Price: not too expensive as theyāre on average with other bakery/pastery places. Menu was also clear and cute to read
Service: amazing!! The worker (forgot to grab his name) was so patient and helpful. Really made going in worth it.

If you are going to serve different kolaches... please make which is which clear instead of dropping them in bags and just tossing it off. Just a thought :) it ruins the love when I don't know what's mine and what's for my picky son.
PS: We asked for separate bags but they were still indistinguishable.

Iāve visited the Kolache Factory on Main Street several times, usually on weekday mornings before workāand Iām always impressed by how kind and upbeat the staff are. Even when the line gets long, they greet each customer with genuine warmth and keep things moving quickly. The kolaches are always fresh, and the variety is great, but what keeps me coming back is the outstanding service. Itās a small, simple shop, but it sets the bar high for how hospitality should feel. Highly recommended if youāre in downtown Houston!

This experience was beyond disgusting ā it was traumatizing. I donāt care how polite the staff is, this location is done for me. Iāll stick with the Sugar Land and Missouri City stores from now on. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Lord help meā¦ that hair in the kolache ended my appetite for this location 4eva Eva!!. šš©
