I went to Komodoâs as I am new to Houston and the night I went mustâve just been somebodyâs bad day. I work in the service industry and personally always tip no matter how small the bill, that night my friends and I were called out by the bartender. He asked us âwhat youâre not gonna tip? of courseâ when he had just poured our shots a whole minute prior. Wonât be coming back as it was such a negative and unfriendly environment.

Bartender (heavy set woman) at 1:00AM on 3/14/25 was rude and had terrible customer service. This kind of interaction makes it hard to come back. Think twice. Other reviews reflect badly on her as well. Why have no changes been made in reflection of these reviews?
Komodos is not a bad place but the environment that Morgan is entertaining is toxic. Haven't been there in a while but definitely will not return.

Iâm not sure what was the issue, but I would not trust her to touch your credit card or debit card. This place is amazing, just visit it when a bartender is there that isnât her. This is a really cool little spot. A house converted into a sweet hangout. Diverse crowd and busy tacos truck next door. Drinks are good but the jello shots are a hit!

This is a very chill spot for drinks with a small outdoor patio. Inside is cozy, with a cheers like vibe. Drinks are cheap. No food served inside but it is next to a columbian food truck. TouchTunes. Usually can find 1-2 chess games being played (boards are stored with the bar tenders and are behind the bar). Parking can be hard to find on weekends
