Been buying their Kimchi in bulk for months now and always a great atmosphere and wonderful to work with. Their rice cakes are always a delight to have as a snack and always taste fresh. Would definitely be visiting time and time again in the future.

I ordered lots of 25 kimbaps and 20 lbs of rice cakes, and kong ju was so great to work with. Our event had a quick turnaround, and they were able to pull it off even though I called the order in the morning before our event. The kimbaps were delicious and everyone enjoyed them! The rice cakes were also good—only critique is that the Injeolmi at the bottom of the tray got too soft/chewy so they were harder to eat. Overall, will definitely order from Kongju again for my events!

The owners are rude
Lovely kind lady helped me answer questions about the 떡 (rice cakes). Made fresh every day and you can see the workers making it in the open kitchen in the back. Rice cakes are incredibly fresh and delicious as well! Sold in Hmart too.

The best place to get authentic Korean side dishes, rice cakes, and kimchi. This is the closest you can get to Korea in Houston.

Fresh kimchi and delicious korean side dishes.
Baekseolgi was really delicious and the amount was great, so I did a good job for 100 days!! thank you!! The sorghum red bean cake seemed a bit less sweet because I like sweet things, but I think it would be good for the elderly to eat☺️? Thank you?
Good food and service
I bought kimchi yesterday from H mart in which they sell and I found a dead grasshopper in the jar. Now I want to know why there’s a dead bug in a closed container ? I am furious and I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone that actually understands what I’m talking about !!!

The best fresh rice cakes, kimbop, freshly squeezed Perrilla oil, kimchee... in Texas! the same owners for 2 decades & they are great. We ordered janchi dduk (celebratory rice cakes) for my kiddos 1st bday years ago & they were the best & still the best!

Local dispensary for Korean foods like Kimchi and Rice Cake. The flavor isn't half bad at all.
