“I ate here last night with my mom and daughter. We had a great experience! Everyone came by and made sure we were doing ok, refilled drinks, removed empty dishes, even offering more banchan when they saw it we had eaten ours. The food was all really good. We ordered a la carte: chicken bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, and beef bulgogi, and when we were finished, someone even packed our leftovers for us and brought me some more kimchi to go. The meat came with banchan, salad, rice and a soup. We also tried the seafood pancake, fried dumplings, and japchae. Very happy with all of it! I look forward to coming back and trying the ayce bbq.“

“Good afternoon everyone! We attended Gen Korean BBQ House in Houston, Tx on Friday 7/5/2023. My family And I were in for a visit from Louisiana and decided to eat here for a couple of reasons; Reason 1: My daughter and I have a very severe allergy to Iodine/Seafood so we're very very limited to what we can eat but with Korean BBQ we can pick out meats and safely cook it on a grill that hasn't been exposed to any seafood products! Reason 2: We don't have very many, if any Korean BBQ spots in Lake Charles, La and we absolutely love this food. So we chose to go to Gen Korean BBQ but to our surprise our hostess/waitress was Extremely rude! not just once or twice but, throughout the whole dining experience! My fiance requested another waiter or waitress after speaking to the manager but nothing was done besides him saying he would speak to the rude waitress, that's unacceptable so we quietly left! I'm not sure if she was having a bad night or this is generally how she acts but where I'm from this is not acceptable and speaks volumes about her character!“

“Newbies to Korean BBQ. The CHEF was AMAZING!! Not only did he come over to our table, he cooked all of our food on the hot plate and explained all the food, flavors and how to cook it ourselves next time. Best experience I’ve had in awhile eating out!“

“I can’t express how great of a time we had here. The atmosphere is nice and the area is clean. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food quality is amazing and the portions were definitely worth the price. For two people it was a lot of fun, but this would also be a good place for large groups. I recommend and I’d go again.“

“Was here for family gathering and everything went pretty well. Ordered the $149.99 combo for 6 people, it came with ribs, brisket, ribeye steak, pork shoulder, pork belly, and squid. The waiter helped us to cook. All the meat is fresh, and they offered three different sauces for your needs. They gave you free kimchi as well. A great place that for families and friends. Definitely will go back again“
