My favorite place for sushi. Quick and friendly service. Bring your hunger - portions are filling.

Wonderful flavors from even the most common of sushi rolls! I have no idea how they do it, but they are certainly sbove average.

Very good sushi, has a large assortment. The fried food was kinda meh, namely the appetizers, but the sushi made up for it. Good service, the waiter was very nice. Just the fried food needs some work and refinement

After our meal it wasn’t hard to see why this place was dead on a Saturday night. The nigiri and sashimi prices are very expensive, the rolls were well priced. The beef ishiyaki was not only super expensive but the cut of meat was terrible, expected better beef cut for $30 appetizer. Definitely priced to the likes of Uchi and Kata Robata but fails to even come close. Wouldn’t go back

They used to be located in Rice Village a few years back. I would always drive to their location from the Woodlands to get an order of Phoenix Roll and a Nabeyaki Udon. I was so sad to hear that they closed down to relocate. I drove to different locations all around Houston trying to find something as good as their Udon. I couldn't find any place that had udon that come anywhere close to their bowl. Now here we are about 4 years later or more. I was about to lose hope they were never going to reopen. No one can imagine how excited I was to hear that they reopened at a different location. I immediately drove to visit them once again. At the time as they just reopened they didn't have Udon just yet on their menu. I tried their sushi and drinks that were very very excellent! I waited until the Udon came back because that to me was the real prize. Finally I see the udon came back their menu. I had to go!! I arrived and I knew what I wanted. I ordered the Udon. The udon came out in the same pot. The little chili despenser. The familiar aroma. My mouth watering. Using the chop sticks I picked up the udon noodle and into my mouth it went. My mouth was so happy to finally have tasted the Udon again. The one I remembered. I craved. I picked up the spoon and took a sip of the broth. I kid you not I shed a tear from how happy I was. My sister looked at me like I was crazy. She doesn't know what it felt like. The entire pot was delicious. I'm so glad to have experienced it once again after so many years. My mouth may be burned from trying to eat it too quickly but it was all worth it. This place is amazing and I will always recommend it to my friends and family.

I didn't realize this place was here until just recently, and I thoroughly enjoyed lunch here today. It wasn't very busy, but I liked the atmosphere, the service was good, and the food was excellent. I like variety and leveraged the happy hour menu to taste multiple appetizers and rolls... all of it was good, and I plan to be back!

Kubo's is a nice cozy place with modern decor and a quiet atmosphere. The sushi is exceptionally fresh and delicious, while the service absolutely top notch. I really enjoyed my Chirashi bowl which was excellent, while my server Annette took nothing short of phenomenal care of my table. Highly recommended for lunch or evening special occasions.

Kubo is a hidden gem. Full disclosure, my girlfriend and I are exploring the menu, and our first couple of appetizers were misses (not bad, just not great), but the specialty rolls (primarily what we came for) were all 5 out of 5s. Sidenote, on a subsequent trip, we switched up the apps, and were pleasantly surprised... we'll continue to dig and update this report if things change.

The most amazingly fresh sushi ever! We had all of the fresh fish carpaccio options (Tako was one and was melt in your mouth) listed under the cold appetizers - it's a must for those sashimi enthusiasts! The Kudo roll is bigger than most and we had some Wagu A5 for dessert. The staff is attentive and the chef is top notch. If your are a sushi lover, you need to give this place a try,
