We ordered the gumbo which was good. Shrimp and grits, a mocktail, and biscuits. The fish and grits were cold, we had to send it back. Only to wait for it to replaced with salty wings that took forever to come out. Took them home and rinsed them off literally. They brought out cold biscuits with no jelly or butter and we had to send that back. Like who was in the kitchen because the tea was not crowded? The mock tail was amazing. The location was amazing as well.

While on a road trip, my husband and I road our bikes along the bayou and downtown. We happened upon Kulture and had a fabulous happy hour! BEST margarita I’ve ever had! Thanks Cam! Delicious collard green aranacini!

Had a conference in Texas and wanted a place for me and my colleagues to go for dinner. We came across Kulture, and they did not disappoint! The food was delicious! The drinks were well done! The service was on point and so friendly! My server almost had me ordering everything on the menu!I recommend the gumbo, it's absolutely delicious! The bread pudding with peach cobbler topping was beyond perfection! Can't say enough about this restaurant! And the ambiance was just what we were looking for. Good music, clean surroundings, comfortable and great service!Five stars all the way!!! ?????

We haven't had an amazing brunch in a while, and this was the spot!!! You've got to go if you've never been..."Kulture" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ across the board....Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Cocktails ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Food Presentation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The taste of the food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Time from ordering to food on the table ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We ordered the pecan pie french toast, smoked beef tallow cornbread, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, pear lemon drop, and some smoked old fashioned whiskey...Everything was made from scratch, you can tell by the taste and texture... The French toast was phenomenal, I can't wait to have some more... Their beef cheeks were so tender I cut it with a fork, and the flavor was throughout every bite...and the cornbread was sweet, way better than that boxed Jiffy y'all are used to.I just would ask for more gravy.If you've ever been to "The Breakfast Klub" you know their fried chicken is to die for... Well this chicken is even better, and it's not just wings, it's a half a chicken... The shrimp was fresh, probably never frozen and paired perfectly with the Parmesan grits (DON'T ADD ANY DAMN SUGAR)People often serve canned greens, but not here, theirs are fresh. The only thing I would say was just "ok" was the mac and cheese, but it was good, nice and creamy, I'd just like it to be cheesier. Last but not least, the homemade biscuit... It was so moist, it melted when you ate it... I should have gotten some to go...The owner was very hospitable as well, he checked on everyone several times. I'd recommend making a reservation, and you can park in the garage.. They'll also validate your ticket as long as you're there for less than 2 hrs. Just don't expect to pay with cash, they only accept credit and debit cards...I'd highly recommend them if you want some good brunch from a black owned establishment. I really could have tried everything on the menu, but some things contain pork. Nevertheless, everything we ordered, we fully enjoyed.....and shout-out to the bartender, I'm not big on mixed drinks, but these drinks are definitely on point...Great job #KultureHouston we need more restaurants like you!!!

We made reservations for 8:30 through open table. To make a reservation we had to enter our credit card information. Our party of 6 arrived at 830 and we were told that the restaurant closed at 9 and that they wouldn't seat us. We explained that we had reservations and the hostess said the app should not have allowed reservations because their kitchen closed in 10 minutes. We told her thank you and walked outside to try to find another place to eat. She then came outside to ask us if we needed recommendations. We now have a hold on our credit card for $50 and we didn't get to eat. This is RIDICULOUS!
We came in on a Wednesday in the beginning of April. We were seated immediately after coming in and the place wasn't too crowded. It was happy hour so we got some drinks. I ordered the half chicken. The chicken was very good. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was good. I can't complain. I also order the old fashioned and it hit harder than an 18 wheeler without brakes. I'm still dizzy as I write this...

Tried 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, and 1 dessert.Gumbo was amazing! Hands down the best thing on the menu. Very flavorful.Everything else was a bit bland for my liking however service is great and the portions are Texas size.
