Parking for this location is not the greatest, but if you're in the Montrose/ River Oaks area this is one of the te shops that I like going to. The Longan jujube tea with 50% sugar is really good

Save your money The guys working tonight did a ridiculous job. I ordered the Coconut wow drink and it tasted like straight up milk. No coconut flavor whatsoever. We also ordered an iced cappuccino and it was just so bland, tasted like burnt iced coffee. I don't know if it's the recipes or the guys doing a mediocre job, but save your money and go to a different location/ business.

A wonderful part of the Montrose Kung Fu Tea is a great local hangout serving all sorts of tasty treats. I recommend the Matcha Green Tea combinations.

My son and I recently visited the Montrose location during the morning hours. Though we arrived earlier than advertised hours, we were welcomed & able to order. The young woman (Tea-Master) who served us was very cordial and welcoming. The milk tea(s) we ordered were great! Also, the tea was fairly priced. Definitely on our regular "to do" list when it's "tea time" again. JBParking: Upfront (off-street) parking.

I recently visited Kung Fu Tea at 3224 Yoakum Blvd, Houston, TX 77006, and I must say, the Taro slush with boba was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were on point, and the boba had the perfect texture. A delightful experience overall!

We normally go to The Teahouse for boba tea since there's one right down the road from our house, but really wanted something *different* so we made a quick trip over this way. We have been to another Kung Fu Tea near downtown and were sorely disappointed- boba's were just "alright" (not good enough for how expensive they were) and customer service was rude and TERRIBLE. But we wanted to give it another chance at a different location and let me say, "WOW!" Not only was the staff helpful and attentive the moment we walked in the door, but the options were so exciting. My son accidentally ordered his wrong (not realizing his order had brown sugar boba - chewy - and he thought it was popping which is the only kind he can have with his braces) and staff were so understanding and generous, helping us pick out a better boba for his needs that he ended up LOVING, with no difficulty or making us feel bad. Truly a completely different experience than what we've had in the past and for sure coming back to THIS location! I wish I would have taken pictures, but I was too focused on enjoying my drink, lol...

King fu tea is always my go to place after meal with friends. They have the creamiest milktea because of the shaker machine. There are so many new boba joints are opening, I still go to kung fu for my winter melon or taro milktea.
