Best AYCE Korean BBQ in H-Towns K-Town!!! Kure on Gessner is a must!!! The Korean Chicken Wings are a hit and all the meats we get to grill and enjoy!!! They even have a Halal option too for dinner which makes it even better. I can't wait to come again!!!

lousy service poor ventilation this is the worst place I've been in 30 +years in Housto. My grandson was coughing because of smoke and when we asked the manager to turn the exhaust on she said exhaust are working only air conditioner ventilation is working which is not enough when you are cooking on two grills at a time. We were about 10 people and when we are for service their excuse was that they are busy so we have to wait worst place to dine all they had was sesame seeds oil and some of my family members are allergic to sesame seeds oil so we had to wait 45 minutes for vegetables oil that delayed and messed up our dinner

Kure gets 5 stars for being a halal KBBQ alone but if you compare it to other KBBQ the selection is a little limited in terms of their banchan. The kimchi tastes a little different here than the other places but it is soo good with the little bits of carrot. I absolutely love coming here with my friends and family that strictly eat halal. My favorite cuts are the LA galbi, the garlic butter beef, and the beef brisket. The beef belly is generally one of my favorite cuts at most KBBQ places but over here it is just not that refined. I would also pass on the seafood because I think the meat is just far more superior than the seafood options that they offer. One of the biggest selling points for me here is the amazing Korean wings. The best wings that they have here are the Thai chili! And once you are done eating everything you have to end the night with one of their ever changing soft serve flavors. I have tried lychee and melon so far. I also really like their coconut jelly and that says a lot because I am generally not a fan of coconut flavored things. One downside to everything here is that the service is either hit or miss. It generally tends to be on the slower side. I have been coming here for a while now and it just depends on the night so take your chances, go with an open mind, and enjoy the halal KBBQ option that we have here in Houston.

The food is ok. The service was good because there were only 4 tables for lunch which means they were not busy at all. The restaurant looks like it needs some TLC but I understand because they're not busy enough to utilize the whole restaurant.

The food was delicious but for all you can eat and us going at lunch time, the experience was NOT GOOD. We opted to get the dinner menu for "more choices" of meat per our server. Our server was very bothered that he had to wait on us. He tells us 2 or 3 times that the kitchen is closing to switch "dinner" that meant we could do a quick last call. In our minds we are waiting a few minutes and we can order more food. For him that meant he would would bring us out food very slowly and to add we were the only people in the restaurant. Then he tells us the kitchen staff is going on break. FYI miso soup tasted very bland and also they had NO chicken and NOT enough vegetables to give everyone some!

Walked in at 917pm. The place closes at 10pm. The person at the front told us they couldn’t serve us because the kitchen closes in 5 min. He went on to explain that they close the kitchen at 930pm. Clearly 5min from 917 is 922pm. Maybe they should change their hours to close at 930pm to avoid confusion.

Food and the ambiance is great. I'm so happy there's a KBBQ place in Houston that offers halal! However, the service needs to improve. The waiters would forget to bring some items, wouldn't come to our table enough, which is odd considering that it's an all you can eat KBBQ place, and didn't really acknowledge us when they walked past our table. Food and experience deserves an all around 5/5 BUT the service honestly was 2/5. Paying $35 for AYCE and not being served made me feel kind of cheated.

One of our favorite food places when we visit Houston. The service is always immaculate but the food is the star of this review. Everything is always so well seasoned and you have a lot of variety to choose from. The servers always stay on top of when your grill needs to be changed. Each order comes with enough meat and the side dishes are yummy. My favorite thing to get on the side is the kimchi soup.

They are def short handed during the holidays. We went a bit of earlier to avoid the crowd and the service was great. I’d def recommend their bulgogi and their chicken wings!
