I ordered the pork vermicelli bowl. The pork was very flavorful. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the greens. I didn't think they were chopped up small enough. They were large size leaves and not enough of the noodles. I also asked for nuts on top, I could barely see them let alone taste them, it could've used a little more of the other vegetables to balance it out

Good food but in a way that appeals more to the general public. If you're Asian the sauce on the bun grilled pork seems to be heavy handed. Nice presence but lacked bean sprout so prevalent in authentic bun dishes. Priced like an Asian fusion joint and not an authentic Vietnamese eatery too, much higher.

We love the food at Lua Viet and we frequently eat there. I usually order a dish that has watercress as a main green ingredient. This was the second time that I have to ask " where is the watercress?" Last time they forgot it and this time the kitchen ran out. Not sure if this will be now become the standard response but just be aware that you may not get all that you are ordering. Dissapointing.

Place slaps. Really yummy and fair prices, plus they have craft diet soda which I appreciate it. My one complaint is that it's a bit chilly inside, feels like they have the AC on 67.

I ordered beef pho, and give it a C minus. The broth was not very flavorful and authentic, and the meat was just normal raggedy beef trimmings. If you go try an authentic pho restaurant, you’ll know the difference. However, the place is very nice. The staff are helpful, and there is a lot of light. The restaurant is very clean, and they bus the tables very quickly.

Pretty good. Not exactly "mom and pop" but solidlidly inner loop Viet food. For the best ethnic food, go to the burbs, where the ethnic minorities live and can open restaurants without taking on investors. The burbs have the best of all ethnic foods here. The city only serves white-washed versions. This is coming from someone who has never lived in the burbs. It is true here, though. I go to the burbs for authentic food.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely abysmal. There was one person who was responsible for taking orders from customers, as well as taking telephone callas for to go orders and alcoholic beverages. As you might expect, this person was not able to perform any of these services well or quickly. You order at the register, and the person entered our order incorrectly, not including one of the dishes. We did not realize this until one or our dishes (a cold dish) arrived promptly and the other (a hot soup) never came. Back to the register I went, and had to order the hot soup dish a second time. When it finally came out, it was the wrong dish - chicken phô instead of beef phô. Back to the register again. After another wait, I finally received the beef phô. The food was not bad, but not great either. The dessert looked good but was pretty much flavorless. The restaurant was extremely loud. Ordinary conversation impossible. Probably to be expected when the floor is cement and the walls and ceiling were uncovered hard surfaces. I would not go again.

The place itself is very nice, very open space and they also offer the option to sit outside which is nice when the weather is nice outside. Service is not as good, the staff didn't really make me feel welcome. No greeting, no nothing and didn't really acknowledge my existence until someone noticed I had been standing at the counter waiting for someone for a bit and got the cashier. The person that took my food to my table, also didn't look very thrilled to be there and made it pretty known. Overall food is ok, service is meh.

This place seems like the place to be. Had lunch with my colleague (human) and my coworker (dog) on a Thursday after some site visits. They've got a nice patio. It's super casual and across the street from the Menil Collection. Service was good. The tip function on the computer wasn't working, so be prepared to do some simple math and tip well! It was perfect weather to sit outside this week, enjoy it while it lasts!

I ordered the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl and it was very flavorful!! I love how they booked their chicken. All the vegetables in the dish were fresh. You order at the counter inside and if you're eating there, they give you a number and then they'll bring it out when it's done. There's info or and outdoor seating with some umbrellas. The oat oo is dog friendly. There's plenty of seating for large or small parties.

This place was so refreshing and delicious. The ambiance was very comfortable and they had a decent amount of customers for midday on a weekday (many electing to sit outside). It was so very clean inside. Tables, floors, and sauces were all super clean. There was no sticky residue from cleaner or the sauces being used. They had so many food and drink options and free water by the soda machine. They as well have their silverware and sauces organized nicely over there. (Notable: I did not use the bathroom so I have no idea how it was) Plenty of parking in the back and side of the restaurants over there. They also seem to have a great gluten free menu as well as GF soy sauce!! The food was super good and very filling!!! The pho had a nice broth and lean meat. It came with a lime as well. I will be back soon I really loved it!

Lúa Viet is one of the best takeout places in Montrose, hands down. It's so easy to order online and pick up. The service is quick, even when you dine-in. You can taste how fresh the ingredients they use are. They have an awesome-sized vegan menu as well. I especially love their vegan "egg" rolls!
