I am a door dasher. I was picking up an order last night and when i got there the door was very hard to open, i even thought it was locked because i tried opening it for a minute and i could not open. Eventually a lady came out and i asked if they were open and she said yes we are open while looking at me like i was dumb. i politely said the door had a padlock on it and i tried opening it a few times and it would not open. she then proceeded to shake her head no the whole time and stated that i did not know how to open a door and was very rude the whole time and had a gross attitude. i reported this restaurant to doordash and i hope no goes to eat here because there customer service is terrible

Love this spot. Friendly staff and great food. Everything looked good so we got the mixed platters. Highly recommend the Katsu curry chicken. BBQ chicken and beef are also excellent. Macaroni Salad was a good side. 10/10 would come again
the cashier was really nice! made lots of conversation with me and my friends, recommended a bunch of good options, and made sure to help clear up any confusion we had about the menu. they have cheap musubi on tuesdays! wasn’t too hungry so i tried the spam musubi and the chicken musubi (i forgot what it was called) and it was super filling. very delicious place

We had an amazing first dining experience at L&L in Katy last night. I know L&L from having lived in Hawaii over 30 years ago -- it was an institution there, and I ate my share of plate lunches too. When I looked through the window, the man at the cash register gave me the Hawaiian Shaka sign, so I knew I just HAD to go in. We ordered the Big Mixed Plate to share, and it was perfect, with succulent, sweet and savoury BBQ pork chops, beef kalbi and chicken over cabbage and rice. We got extra sauces, including the owner's special "yum-yum sauce" for the rice. What made it even more amazing is we got to sample a generous portion of the kalua pork (my favourite), chicken katsu with sweet and spicy sauce, and new speciality called pineapple beef. PLUS -- a freshly made musubi! The owner really showed us that warm aloha spirit and made us feel super kama'aina. We will definitely be back. If you order everything I just mentioned above, you won't be disappointed. Next time we'll try the seafood plate!

They don't skimp or add excessive amounts of cabbage to make it "look" like it's a big portion which is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to other Hawaiian BBQ places in the area. My favorites are the Loco Moco and BBQ Chicken. I get a Hawaiian Sun too. It takes me back to my days living in Hawaii. Staff is always friendly and helpful. When I do takeout, the food is ready when I get there. Don't skip on this place!
I ordered Uber eats order and all they give is one rib per order however the menu said 1 and a half per order.. I have ordered it on Monday and it came with 1 and a half. They did not offer me anything besides saying we will do better next time…. There won’t be a next time for me. SMH now I do not have enough for dinner. Also if you’re gonna post a deal at least stay true to your words.

It’s 33 degrees outside turn on the heater for crying out loud… Restaurant had these Harbor Freight space heaters set at the table. Also what’s with the raw strips of cabbage? Garnish? Food got cold before I could enjoy the meal.

I have little experience with Hawaiian food but I really enjoyed this place! The dishes are a little on the pricey side in my opinion. I tried the mix platter so that I could try a little of every meat. I thought the marinade for the meat was really good. It had lots of flavor! The Musubi is okay & had a little too much rice for me. The staff and ambiance was good & is a more casual setting.
