Location was pretty spotless and clean. The staff was helpful and made a few suggestions as first timers to eat there. I planned to grab a bbq plate but was suggested the chiken katsu as the favorite option. My wife and I ordered the chiken katsu and ordered the bbq chicken for our daughter so it wasnt too hard for her to eat. When the dishes came out the looked pretty good. My wife tasted the bbq chicken, then the katsu....and was bummed that she should have ordered the bbq chicken...

I was excited to eat L&L because I hadn't had it in a long time. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a half and half plate with chicken katsu and kalua pork. Also ordered 2 spam musubi on the side. The kalua pork was way overcooked - it was dry and stringy. Also, the flavor was off. The chicken katsu was over crunchy and definitely overcooked. It looked like it had sat under a hot light for hours. The mac salad, rice and musubi were fine.

This food put me back on the island! We had kalua pork and bbq chicken (huli huli) and I got a lilikoi juice. All were outstanding! The staff was nice, its counter service but she brought the food to our table anyway. Overall great lunch.
