A friend recommended this place to us. We've bought so much stuff from them in the last 6 months or so, and it's all very good. For convenience we sometimes buy their products at HEB on Gosling, but we prefer going to the store. Every time my wife comes back from there she tells me about something new she saw and we invariable buy it on the next visit.

If it's Good you want, go to La Boucherie. Try the stuffed pork chops, bacon wrapped chicken, ribeyes, GREAT sausage, really good frozen food section.

#1 Butcher Shop in the city of Houston! Meat Quality 10/10, Customer Service 10/10, Price 10/10. I haven't bought meat from a grocery store in 18 months. La Boucherie has better steaks then fine dining. Their wings are amazing and dirt cheap. The fajitas, omg to die for. The owner is a sweetheart. If you want top of the line cuts, marbled thick steaks. This is the only place I'd recommend.

My husband and I picked up a New York strip and a filet mignon for dinner, they were roughly a pound and a half together, and we spent under $35 which is pretty phenomenal. The marbling was beautiful on both pieces and the filet mignon was cut roughly 2 in thick much. Anything under cooks too fast for all of us who love this. You know that. It was delectable and we will be returning now that we finally visited. We feel silly that we haven't done it sooner 💯
