Haven’t been here since I was about 5 yrs old. Damn I’ve been missing out. The huevos con chorizo Perfect…the menudo by far the best in town for sure. Enchiladas delicious…My sister and I will definitely be back…❤️

It's my first time ordering from here and I had the fajita chicken burrito yes it was a nice size, but there was no fajita veggies, the chicken was very bland and had chunks of gristle. And was sloppy in presentation, burrito could have been tucked more efficient.couldn't pick it up without most of the ingredients falling out.

My friend Evetier and I love La Carreta. The food and service are fantastic. The employees are very friendly, and the menudo is great. On top of that, they serve menudo every day from a mini bowl to a large bowl. I highly recommend La Carreta. Stop by. You'll be glad you did.

Omg!!! Read a review that posted "ordered menudo and barbacoa tacos,delicious!"My wife and i went there just to try a new spot.We ordered the menudo(24 oz) and barbacoa tacos. It was TERRIBLE!! So much so, we had three to four spoons of menudo and two bites of the barbacoa tacos and left!!Breakfast is not their thing. I can only imagine what the rest of the menu items taste like. Can't believe how long this place has been open!!!?

Horrible service, had to get up and go ask for an iced tea refill at the cash register! Meanwhile the staff is standing there talking amongst themselves! Was charged for items we didn't order or receive! Went back in to show them, cashier said she couldn't do anything because we paid by debt card! Three of us got nausea and diarrhea! Don't recommend this place at all!

I just ordered the Tejano plate thru UberEats, so I understand that delivery makes things a little room temp. But, this was horrible. Not sure what rice flavor was, but something spoiled comes to mind. The beans were runny and very little of that. The cheese tostada was a joke and my taco was soggy and couldn't pick it up. Asked for onions, got no onions.All in all not impressed. Didn't someone look at that order before it left? It was so disappointing ?

Good for frequent visits, and large portions. Be careful not to add tequila to the home-made lemonade. Not the best for vegetarians as their guacamole and pico, lack lime. Their salsa is great for long dipping sessions, but it's not the sweet red stuff that goes great in Huevos Rancheros.Their guac reminds me of Cafe Layal Tabbouleh, technically fine, but missing the lime juice kick that makes our taste buds dance.Their food is not aggressively unhealthy, which is one of the ways they've managed to keep busy for 50 years. It's not over sweetened or over greased. It's made for daily consumption... not special occasions.Vegetarian options: Breakfast tacos, potato burritos, Huevos Rancheros, guac and queso.

Always noticed this place in the heights and had been there once many years ago and man was it good. Girlfriend and I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 9 am and it was busy but not packed. If you want a traditional Mexican breakfast and not break the bank, this is your spot! Tortillas are the star of the show as well as the salsa. Not a lot of places serve warm salsa and I’m all for it. Spent $20 for two plates and 2 coffees. Can’t beat that!

Ordered the fajita plate via GrubHub. The menu on grubhub is misleading as if the order does not come with chips and salsa. I paid extra for chips to go with my queso. Ended up getting 2 bags with salsa in which I was not going to pay extra for. The tacos are very full of fajita. I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side. Perfect!
