Garlic butter wings tasted like it was fried in Cajun flavored grease or something tasted nothing like garlic , was not fresh & very greasy, ettouffe was not good at all & mashed potatoes were…just a no lol E for effort the service was great but the food wasn’t good. First time trying this location.

Maybe we shouldn’t hv gotten crawfish at the end of the night but our batch of 6lbs was gray ( which means it’s not fresh) overcooked and fishy. We wanted a refund immediately but they told us to come the next day. When we came in they shorted us the refund bc they wanted to pay their taxes with it..I’ve never heard of such a thing. And I also saw something growing inside the Patron bottle

⭐️ I’ve been coming to La Crawfish Shack since moving to Houston and have never had any issues — until recently. I purchased 5 lbs of crawfish driving 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back home. When my wife and I started eating them, we noticed something was off. At first, we thought we were imagining it, but after a few more bites, it was clear — this was a bad batch.
I called and spoke to the manager and explained the situation. He told me I would need to bring the crawfish back to get a refund and that they would weigh them. I told him we had already eaten some and I’d rather just throw them away than drive 40 minutes back. He insisted they had to weigh them.
Holding on to some hope, I made the drive back, expecting they would take care of me as a loyal customer. When I arrived, he weighed what was left and told me we had eaten too much, so he would only refund me $28 out of the $80 I spent. I was absolutely livid.
This used to be my go-to crawfish spot. I’ve recommended hundreds of people here — from family visiting out of town to coworkers and clients. But after how this was handled, I will never do business with them again. I let the manager know before I left: you’ve lost a loyal customer.

I’ve been a loyal customer of LA Crawfish Shack on HWY 6 for years, but today was a huge disappointment. I spent over $70 on food for my family — 2.5 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of sausage, and red beans and rice. The rice came out grey, like it had been frozen and microwaved. Everything tasted old, and the overall quality was nothing like it used to be.
I don’t usually complain, but I called to let them know the food was not good and seemed old. The young lady on the phone said they couldn’t take it back but offered 10% off. I declined, because I won’t be going back after this experience.
This used to be one of the best spots in the area. It’s really sad to see how far it’s fallen off.

Delicious crawfish and shrimp! The medium spicy garlic butter is finger-licking good! Plus, buy 5 pounds of crawfish and get a 6th pound for free!!!!
I absolutely love this restaurant. The blackened fish/shrimp dish with the rice and crawfish etoufee is out of this world and only $15😮.

We came to LA Crawfish Shack craving some good crawfish and ended up ordering a batch that was way spicier than we expected—about 6 pounds of it! When my brother mentioned it to one of the staff members, he was incredibly kind and understanding. He went out of his way to fix it for us and made it so much more enjoyable. We really appreciated the great service and hospitality. The food was delicious once adjusted, and the overall experience was definitely worth five stars. Thank you for taking care of us—we’ll definitely be back!
