Restaurant La Ezperanza #2

The food was what I would expect from a tex-mex place. However, I was not happy with their salsa that comes with the chips.
It's a salsa with decent flavor with decent spiciness, however the salsa is cold. It needs to be hot (temperature wise).

For me, salsa makes or breaks a Mexican restaurant..
Since the food was good (just lacking good, hot salsa) I'll keep an eye on reviews to see if they ever change that.

I passed by expecting to eat something delicious, I ordered a red mole but unfortunately it was super salty, I couldn't even eat it and the chicken tasted like it was already spoiled. When I asked if it was recent they told me no, it was from a day before according to... and they told me that the person did it that way and that's it. .

Me and my daughter visited this restaurant on 10/25/24. I ordered 4 tacos and a sprite. While waiting on the food we went and sat back in the car because it was too cold inside. After I came back I noticed another worker came from the back just staring at us so at the time we ignored it. I got my food and grabbed my sprite and walked out the door. The lady waited till I walked out came running to my car saying u didn’t pay for the sprite. If she forgot to ring it up she should have apologized and said she forgot. Instead she tried to make it like I was stealing the sprit. So I paid her and told her keep the sprite. This definitely had a lot to do with the fact that we are black. So if you are colored please avoid this place are prepare to get weird looks the entire time your waiting for your food.
