Nice meal enjoyed w friends who were new to La Fisheria . Portions are shareable & nice. Allow some time it's not fast dining here
A group of five friends dined here after the opera. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The service was excellent. We all said we needed to come back here more often. The only fly in the ointment was the noise level. I don't understand why restaurants insist on playing loud music. Acoustics were not good in the restaurant and the reverberations made it virtually impossible to hear each other. We did ask them to turn the volume down and they did which helped somewhat. Other than the noise level, we really liked this place.
Muy buen servicio desde que llegas , excelente sabor y calidad de la comida , volveremos a ir por supuesto
The numerous 5* reviews speak for themselves! Food and service was fantastic. Started of with the Poblano Dip and Trio de Empanadas. Both were divine, as we practically licked the plate clean. For entrees, we had the Tamal de Elote con Camarones, which our waitress highly recommended. It was probably the best Mexican seafood dish I've ever tasted. My wife had the Pulpo Ensenada. My experience with octopus is that it's usually overcooked and tough, but the chef knows exactly how to prepare this dish and it was excellent. We live in Dallas and wish they would open a location there. Run, don't walk to La Fisheria!!!
Waited 15 minutes to place a drink order. Then, after ordering guacamole, the waitress who promised to bring us the ships disappeared. A manager - I think - promised to cover the bill, encouraged us to order items I thought he was buying for our trouble. Not returning.
The food was amazing as always. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful; all our questions were answered.
Alex was our waitress and she was incredible. Very personable and helped with the menu choices and drinks. The dinner was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Came here for HRW and honestly the food was all around delicious! The three course meal where I got the Ceviche Verde, Fish, and Tres Leches cake was something id love to come back for. This spot is great for a romantic evening with a significant other. Next time, I'll love to try their drink options at the bar (:

We tried La Fisheria during restaurant week and had a great experience. Loved both the soups, the pulpo and the tamal. Churros were hot and fresh and delicious. Anita was friendly and accommodating. Had to take food home because the portions were so generous but definitely looking forward to finishing them later.
