A group of five friends dined here after the opera. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The service was excellent. We all said we needed to come back here more often. The only fly in the ointment was the noise level. I don't understand why restaurants insist on playing loud music. Acoustics were not good in the restaurant and the reverberations made it virtually impossible to hear each other. We did ask them to turn the volume down and they did which helped somewhat....
The numerous 5* reviews speak for themselves! Food and service was fantastic. Started of with the Poblano Dip and Trio de Empanadas. Both were divine, as we practically licked the plate clean. For entrees, we had the Tamal de Elote con Camarones, which our waitress highly recommended. It was probably the best Mexican seafood dish I've ever tasted. My wife had the Pulpo Ensenada. My experience with octopus is that it's usually overcooked and tough, but the chef knows...
Alex was our waitress and she was incredible. Very personable and helped with the menu choices and drinks. The dinner was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
