Excellent menu options. I tried the menudo and it was delicious: well seasoned, good portion - I ordered a small and I had left over to take -, excellent texture. Ask for pata for the additional collagen.

Handmade and homemade tortillas

Their aguas frescas are REAL, not the powder stuff. The agua de tamarindo was refreshing and delicious.

I also ordered the Milanesa and chile relleno to go and the recipients of this food were pleasantly satisfied with the taste. I forgot to take a picture of them.

Very bad service, the owner [the bald man] a little friendly but the owner was very rude and forceful, she wanted to give us the tips, she was charging us about $30 just for the tip and the food was very expensive, the battered one was pure egg, it had no meat and The dishes were very small for the price they were and the waitress with a very bitter face and still a sign that says that if you have a bad attitude or are irritable they will charge you $25 dollars more to put up with you but no They discounted the $25 because of the face of the waitress and the owner and what a shame that they are from Michoacan!!!
Be careful👁not all of us from Michoacan are like that!!
Check the photo I posted.

Place started as a convenience store, now turned to a nice place
to chill and enjoy true homemade food.. if you're a huajillo lover, this is your place.. Chilaquiles the lujo hit the spot, and come back and have the fresh nopalitos con huevo in huajillo sauce.. you won't regret it. Sorry about the half eaten chilaquiles.. I was hungry..

Todo delicious! Muy mexicano, como hecho en casa

Waited 15 minutes and no one came to our table, no menu, no chips, nothing, all while they are serving other customers as they are coming in after us. Both waitresses looked our way and didn’t care to come to our table. We had to leave since no one helped us. Was looking forward to trying this place because of the reviews and pictures on Google.

I went to see nearby restaurants to eat and I see very negative things in the comments from the owner. #Mr.clean . Very rude and disrespectful. From what I see they don't give good service and they want 15% tip. When a restaurant is good and their service is good, there is no need to ask for tips because people give them more than they asked for.
Mexican countrymen, don't go!

I answered for Isidro number one, you have to ask your waitress that even if she has had a bad day she has to put on a good face for the customers, number two that you and your wife as owners of the restaurant have not been taught that because they are Owners do not have to start arguing with customers, number three has to ask their workers to be a little faster since one of Ivan's people was given his plate of food when all the rest of us had finished eating, number four one day I'm going to show you on this page what an aporredo is, not a chili with egg.
The problem was not so much the taste of the food or the money but the poor service they gave us. If they had given us good service, they would have been paid without any problem, even the tip would have been more than what you asked for because I know how to pay a good service but apart from the fact that they gave us bad service, you wanted to decide how much I had to tip and the Tip is optional depending on the service
And don't be sexist, you don't have to say that women have to cook!!

We regretted the service, the sauce was pure oil and one had no salt and the owner told us that the type was mandatory and in the state of Texas the tip is optional, not mandatory!!
