I love Mexican pastries because they are not overpowered with sugar. I have found over the years they typically lacked moisture. My wife hated Mexican sweet bread because of the dry texture and plainness. After seeing La Hacienda on instagram, I looked up some ratings and went to check it out myself. Wife came along for the ride with no real expectations. I got several different pastries like conchas, cream cheese horns, empanadas, some long flavored pastry (strudel) 🤷🏻....
All y’all this bakery is very highly recommended from the minute you walk in and the quality of the sweet breads and pastries. I’m about an hour away and I don’t mind doing the drive at all. Freshness and customer service is amazing!
This is my 2nd time buying from la hacienda. I was very delighted at first visit. This 2nd visit I bought a couple of filled conchas. I was enjoying my concha with a coffee till I felt something while I was chewing, I thought it was a nail at first. I don't know what it was, but to me looked like a booger 🤮🤢.
