But La Hacienda isn't just another Tex-Mex joint slinging out sad tacos and watery margaritas. This place is the Beyonce of Tex-Mex: fierce, fabulous, and garantiert to leave you with a sonrisa the size of Texas.First off, the portions are HUGE. I ordered the chicken enchiladas verde, and let me tell you, those weren't your mama's enchiladas. They were more like enchilada boulders, smothered in a sauce so verdantly green it could make a leprechaun jealous. And the chicken? Oh, the chicken! So tender it practically apologized for being in my mouth. I swear, one bite and I was transported to a sun-drenched hacienda in Oaxaca, mariachi band and all.And then there were the margaritas.
