We just moved nearby and found this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the customer service is great! Food is delicious! definitely recommend!

I was able to speak with the owner he had so many excuses as to why his food was so bad. Save your dollars for now.

Today, I had breakfast at La Palapa Mexican Café, and it was a delightful experience. The meal started off wonderfully with a complimentary coffee and fresh pan from the panadería next door—a lovely touch that set the tone for the morning.

I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and breakfast potatoes, and we also tried the avocado toast. The food was delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that made every bite enjoyable. The chilaquiles were flavorful, and the breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The avocado toast wasn’t quite what we expected—it wasn’t the typical mashed avocado on toast with eggs on top—but it was still phenomenal.

The only minor downside was that the food wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. Despite this, the quality of the meal more than made up for it. Overall, La Palapa Mexican Café offers a great breakfast experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

My favorite Mexican restaurant and the food is always made fresh and so delicious. Restaurant is always so clean , service top notch , and quick service. The waiters are so friendly and always get a table. My parents are regulars here every week and they love it !! Everything is delicious. My faves are the chilaquiles , carne asada tacos and the sopes. The prices are affordable too ! Bits any high end Mexican restaurant in Houston.

Delicious authentic food. The waitor may have been the owner, and he was awesome! We asked a bunch of questions. I had the torta de milanesa and my husband had the Chile relleno.
