The service put me off from this place. Both cashiers ignored me and did not speak when I entered or left, however all other customers were warmly welcomed. I ordered the sesame latte which tasted alright. The restroom had a German cockroach in it, which makes me wonder about the sanitation of La Plume. Nice atmosphere, would not visit again based on customer service and sanitation.

I got an oatmeal latte. Told her to sweeten it with honey. I took a sip and it’s like I bought myself a cup of honey. So I drew her attention; telling her it was way too sweet. She made me a second cup. It was still sweet and something in me wanted to reject it but I didn’t want to make her feel bad, I wasn’t in the mood to experience attitude from anyone or have a bad day either. This has once happened to me at Starbucks. So I ended up drinking the second cup like that at the detriment of my health. I’m seriously regretting why I took it. I think cafés should give people the option to sweeten their drink the way they like. Like what will it cost to have honey sachets or sweeteners handed out to a customer ?
It’s a tiny cup for Pete’s sake. She said the first time she used 2 pumps, 😳 2 pumps for that tiny cup ? Second time she used 1 pump. Still there was no much difference. Questions if that was really honey she used or adulterated honey. Cos why is my health so triggered ? I wish I listened to my gut and not drank that second cup, I also wish I listened to my mind the initial time I was contemplating whether to get a latte or not. Now, guess who has been sick since yesterday she left La Plume ? My humble self. Nice ambience by the way and that’s why I gave a 2 star, but your Latte got me messed up. First visit, bad experience.

Super cute bakery and cafe. The drinks are good, but their baked pastries was the star of the show. We got the raisin bread and it was buttery and not too sweet. They had truffle ice cream too. It was very savory, if you love truffles then you have to come try it.

Wow! Lovely French bakery with great coffee, specialty teas, beautiful cakes, pastries and ice cream! The black truffle ice cream is a must try! We very much enjoyed the relaxing ambiance and cosy atmosphere. There were quite a few people coming in to collect custom cakes and pastries. I think it’s a lovely place to host a tea party..

The cafe was were well decorated and had a nice atmosphere along with lots of sitting. They had a large selection of drinks and sweets. The staff were nice and friendly. I ordered their iced einspanner, honey lavender iced coffee, matcha crepe cake, and rose romance crepe cake. The iced einspanner was good and had a nice strong coffee taste (8/10). The honey lavender iced coffee was good a first but after the lavender taste got weird and you couldn't taste the honey (7/10). The matcha crepe was amazing, it was moisture, soft, and actually tasted like matcha (9/10). As for the rose romance crepe, it was soft and moisture but the rose was too overwhelming that it tastes like you were eating perfume (6/10). Overall, great place to try their unique drink and pretty sweets.

I’m a new Too Good To Go user and saw that this place was close to me so I wanted to give it a try. I was very disappointed. Look, I used to work in food service and we did TGTG and I used to check ALL the time for food that had mold or imperfections. Like I get it, we are getting food that is gonna go bad eventually but I wasn’t expecting to receive food that was ALREADY bad, like to the point that I see mold on both sides of a slice of cake? Like what? You want me to eat that? I’m sure this place has delicious food but it kinda felt like a slap in the face, do better please! I hope this was just a one time thing. I still wanna give you guys a chance.

I ordered a custom cake for my baby shower and it came out perfect! Peggy was so easy to work with and created a beautiful and delicious cake. I ordered a matcha cake with fresh whipped cream with fresh fruit filling. The cake was light and not too sweet, perfect for Asian palates.
Cute little cafe. I tried the chocolate cake, macaroons and liked both, I did not like the croissant at all. I will return to try the drinks and other pastries.

The place was nice and quaint. I ordered a slice of strawberry cake and a croissant. To my disappointment, the cake had zero taste and the frosting tasted like butter. I was so confused and disappointed. I spent $8 for nothing. The croissant tasted like it was a day old. Maybe it was an off day....

I cannot recommend La Plume bakery enough! The 3rd picture is the picture I sent the bakery and requested they make me a cake that looks just like this for my sister's bridal shower. They did not disappoint!! I contacted many popular bakeries in Houston and almost all of them said they couldn't make buttercream flowers like this, it required a skill they did not have, and wanted to make them out of fondant or use real flowers. The detail, talent, and time to make flowers this stunning is truly a gift and I am so grateful to Peggy for giving my sister the cake of her dreams! Oh and the cake tasted delicious which is also rare to find! A cake that looks this beautiful and taste good!! Thank you again, Peggy and La Plume Bakery!!

Peggy is so talented and did the most beautiful cake for my daughter's Bridal shower. The cake tasted just as good as it looked and the berry filling was so fresh and added just the right touch and color. The French buttercream was light and not overly sweet. She exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back to La Plume for a tea party 💝 Thank you Peggy and team for making our special day even more special 🙏
