We held a private event at Lao'd District for Houston’s growing film community. The staff was great, the drunk noodles I ordered were delicious, the event was well attended and parking was a breeze in the parking garage!

we had an awesome experience at lao’d district! you could tell each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail— both in the taste and presentation! the drinks were also phenomenal! we got the pumpkin spice thai iced coffee, thai iced tea, and iced jasmine green tea. the green tea was my favorite! as you can tell from the photos… we absolutely destroyed the food! 11/10 would recommend :)

This place is awesome and very reasonably priced. Loved everything we ordered and will definitely be back. Young woman who was our waitress was great and very attentive. On the dessert side, I’d never seen Thai-Tea flan before - loved it!!!

Been here a couple times. Wish I lived closer to come more often. LOVE the chicken and steak larb. The atmosphere is chill, the decor is simple and the music is always pretty good. However, the young bald guy (sorry, I always forget his name) has such a welcoming demeanor. Customer service is on point here!!

This place is worth way more than 5 stars!!! We gathered up after our Softball tournament and they more than delivered for our entire team. Food was hot, fast and delicious. It isn’t our first time here and it definitely will not be our last. Rick gave us the southern hospitality service that is much needed from restaurants nowadays. Drunken Noodles and the Mango Sticky Rice is a must have. Thanks fellas for your service.

Amazing service and food. We got the Thai Basil Chicken, Crack Belly, and Mango Sticky Rice. Food came out quick but was very fresh and great quality. The Thai tea wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t bad. Would definitely come again. The portions are really good especially for the price.

I’ve been here multiple times now so I’m comfortable leaving this review. No matter who is working the front counter, they will take care of you. The food is very consistent and excellent (get the Red Curry), and service is always amazing. This is the spot in this strip.

In Houston, you have plenty of options for Thai food, but there’s only a handful of Lao food options. Lao’d District hits the spot with authentic Lao food and has numerous menu items you can’t find anywhere else besides a Lao home (khaopoon, gang nor Mai, mok pa).
