š This Leaf & Grain is conveniently located in the tunnels of Allen Center, making it easily accessible for most office workers in the surrounding buildings.
š¤ Given its prime location and focus on healthy food, there's almost always a line.
š Every time I've ordered from any Leaf & Grain, the food has been great.
š¤ When I request light dressing mixed in, it often still feels like too much. Thatās more of a personal issue, especially since I can't mix the salad myself at the office. I could fix this by ordering in person and telling the employee I want half of whatever they consider "light" dressing.
š¤ The wait time for online orders can be excessive. I've seen people join a 20-person line after I placed my order 15 minutes priorāonly for them to leave with their food before me. However, given how busy this location is and the fact that they warn customers online orders may take up to 30 minutes, I wonāt hold this against them.
ā ļø FOOD SAFETY ā One time, I arrived while an employee was setting pickup orders on the shelves. After she finished, I checked for mine and didnāt see it. I waited another 15 minutes with no new orders being placed, so I decided to check the other shelvesāand found my order in the wrong location.
š Pickup orders are supposed to be arranged alphabetically by last name, but on multiple occasions, mine has been placed under my first name or a part of my first name. It shouldnāt be that hard to figure out which name is the last name. It is, after all, the⦠LAST name.

My favorite spot in Houston. You could go every day and get something different, and walk away feeling full and good about your nutritious choices. Fresh variety of delicious salads and grains (plus some fun extras), engaging staff, wonderful ambiance, kid-friendly. They pay attention to the details so even your to-go orders are meticulously crafted. Wonderful, local owner.

Food tastes great! I was especially impressed with the sign notifying people that if they can only do 3 bowls at a time per person in order to keep the line flowing - this is a BRILLIANT policy to keep rude and inconsiderate people from gumming up the line during busy lunches. If you need to feed the whole office, use online ordering!Overall service was polite and fast, and price was about in line with a typical fast casual lunch now-a-days.

I used to go here 2+ times a week, mainly for the Alamo bowl. Since they changed the dressing recipe, there is no heat and barely any flavor. It is just disappointing now. They don't have a comparable dressing option either, I've tried a few combinations. It would be so amazing if they brought back the original recipe of Chipotle-Lime Vinaigrette as a spicier dressing option for their bowls/salads! Quality otherwise has always been great!

how do you place order online? bowls will not add to cart have tried for several days.Response: it's your custom bowls they will not add to cart. Tried on cell phone, work computer, co-workers computer.. it just times out over and over. Today I picked the Alamo bowl and then just modified ALL the ingredients and it worked... so yeah it's your custom bowls.obviously you get hundreds of thousand online orders doesn't mean your site isn't glitchy. In fact it has a horrible user interface when checking out.

I love Leaf & Grain! I recently tried their Allen Center location (I had previously only been to their other two locations), and it was great as always. They always have the freshest ingredientsāso yummy. I was a little worried about the line, but it moves fast. The employees are kind and helpful. I can't get enough of Leaf & Grain!

I had a delicious Peach Panzanella bowl for my first time here, and its been my go-to lunch order ever since. It has the perfect combination of popping flavors.

This was so good! I had Leaf and Grain here for lunch today. I had a Pollo Laredo (modified a bit), and it was super flavorful. I thought the avocado was really fresh and the dressing was super tasty. Great place for a quick bite

Had the steak chimichurri entree. The amount of steak I received was maybe 20% of what is shown in the menu photo, only a few bites. I was certain they accidentally forgot to put all the steak in, but when I asked the cashier, she confirmed that I received the correct amount of steak and apologized for the menu photo not being accurate. On top of that, the chimichurri was awful, not the right flavor at all. For the misleading menu and high price of what was mostly a plate of rice and green beans, this was easily the most disappointing lunch Iāve had in Houston so far.Positives: Cilantro jalapeƱo dressing and friendly staff.
