We came to pick up Gluten Free bread for my daughter who needs to now be GF. We also prefer eating GF when possible. We had the rotisserie chicken sandwich with house made pickles and a cup of bone broth. BOTH were excellent! They also said they were seed oil free which is a game changer for us. We do NOT eat seed oils as much as possible. The bread has been fantastic also. Its a little pricey but i feel worth it for the quality you get.
pick up a half chicken that was time smallest rotisserie chicken thé chicken was not warm the cauliflower was oily and cold it is not the cashiers fault i stop buying their bone broth not good
We recently tried Leven for the first time (a couple weeks ago) and have already been back twice- both to dine-in and to buy take-home goodies. (I also recently bought additional Leven goodies at the Ion Cafe.) Leven is so good! It is always nice to find a dedicated gluten-free facility and the quality of their food is top notch. The first thing I tried was the fried chicken sandwich, since it's not something I can eat since I had to switch to being gluten-free. It was delicious. I love the brioche bun that it comes on as well. The rotissirie chicken sandwich (think more of a chicken-salad-style) was tasty as well, though that comes on the bread. The last time, I tried the burger and added a fried egg, since I wanted something with the brioche buns, and it also did not disappoint. The date latte is very good, too. For take-home goodies, I love the crostini. How much olive oil you prefer on them is a personal preference, but I think they strike a nice balance. They are good with the carrot hummus, but I also just find myself eating them plain. We've also now tried the cinnamon rolls, sourdough bread, cowboy cookies, apple pie, and some of the dessert breads- all of which were good. I think the dessert breads are a favorite as well. At any rate, even my non-gluten-free husband really enjoyed everything he ordered. The chefs do a great job and I will definitely be back.
Side note: definitely listen when they give instructions about maintaining freshness for the food. It helps. Also: heating the bread/etc extends its life. I also found that, with the cinnamon rolls from Leven and many gf items, a quick spritz with a water bottle before you heat them up can counter act some of the lack-of-gluten challenges you might encounter when reheating or trying to stretch the longevity of items.

I love the atmosphere and the dedicated gluten free kitchen, but the items are very hit or miss. The burrito was delicious, but the PB & J toast was not great. I also took some croutons home and they were soggy. I think they were put into the bag before they cooled.

Fantastic little shop rich with the smell of coffee and baked goods. My girlfriend can't have gluten so this place is heaven for her. I'd recommend the cheese cake its light and fluffy and creamy and I cannot stress enough how wonderful everything is when you get a cup of coffee with it. Cannot recommend this place enough

10/10 on absolutely every topic.
Atmosphere: beautiful! Clean! Relaxing! Just fantastic.
Service: all around great. Quick, but not too quick to be questionable. Just right.
Food: I got the Mediterranean Salad Bowl. 9.9/10. Personally, I’m not necessarily a fan of artichoke, and when I hear Mediterranean, I expect tomatoes in that food. But that’s just my taste. The food is very fresh and delicious.
Also got the Masala Chai tea and it was so refreshing to drink something not oozing with absurd amounts of sugar. It tasted like how a Chai should! Spices, black tea, and just sweet enough not to bother you. Perfect.
I will definitely come back.

Leven is a special place for all! The food, the coffee, the ambiance, and everything in between is refined to perfection! I can’t say anything more than “COME! And enjoy everything this place has to offer”
If you or a loved one has gluten-free dietary restrictions or celiacs, you MUST come here! Halal + gluten-free breakfast/coffee/brunch/bakery has never looked this good

Amazing service, and most importantly, their food and baked goods are delicious. I ordered a slice of quiche, maple carrot tea cake, and slice of Basque cheesecake (to-go...and no, I didn't eat all of these in one sitting lol). They were all phenomenal, especially the Basque cheesecake, which was strongly recommended by a Leven bakery staff when she saw me contemplating. Excited to return with friends and family.

Edited to add: shortly after sharing my experience, the owner reached out to me and sincerely apologized for my experience. I understand we all have bad days, and I plan on giving them a second chance in the near future.
I hate writing a negative review for a local business. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Leven and wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.
Today is my husbands 35th birthday. He has celiacs disease, so it's very tricky to find a birthday cake for him to eat. Since it's a milestone birthday, I decided to splurge on a chocolate cake. I saw that Leven has a 48 hours in advance order time, so I made sure to order 4 days in advance, which I felt was ample time. I received an order confirmation, AND a reminder to pick up my order the next day at 3:30 PM.
On pick up day at 3:17PM, I receive a call from Leven bakery while driving there with all three of my children in tow. They inform me that their system didn't show my order until "very recently" and that they don't have a cake available. They offered a cheesecake instead, which I declined because my husband doesn't eat cheesecake.
