So, I guess I'm a gluten for punishment. Fact is...I love the product. Fact is, I hate the service. After my cashless experience, I noticed I had a gift card. Perfect, I thought...I'll get some more vegan ice cream and pay with a gift card. Now I'm buying a pint. That's roughly $12. There always seem to be customers in front of me, but hey, I'm patient. The attendant...perhaps I should get his name, looks at me..perhaps remembering I do not feel the need to tip when just purchasing a pint of ice cream. So, tonight his comment..."Is that all". Nothing turns me off more than.."is that all?" You see, that is where the transaction ends. He does not say.."Anything else?" But he left off...Is that all cheap skate? In any event, I present my gift card. He says "tap it". I say...there is not chip on a gift card. Heavy sigh...he then keys in the number...I guess that deserves a tip since he had to put in some numbers. He finishes and hands me the card. Now, I have zero idea what he charged. I say...receipt? Answer...no we don't give receipts. When will I learn this place just is not fun.

My family was super excited when Lick opened in Houston. We previously tried lick in Austin and absolutely loved it! The Beet and Goat Cheese flavors are delicious but unfortunately none of the other flavors I’ve tried have been very good. They all taste bland and the texture of the ice cream isn’t creamy. It has an icy/chalky texture. What annoys me about lick the most is that they don’t provide free water. All the locally owned Houston ice cream shops have free water for patrons. Most people bring reusable water bottles with them. I shouldn’t have to get water from your bathroom sink. I can’t stand when places only give you the option to purchase bottle water. Bottled water is so wasteful and bad for the environment. Provide reusable cups and spoons for your establishment, please!!!

I only have good things to say about Lick! We came in late on a Sunday night and the gentleman that helped us was so kind and patient. Great service! We tried a bunch of flavors and finally narrowed it down to two. I will definitely be back. This location is quiet and slow-- nice place to enjoy your ice cream after you make your selections!

We are super glad that Lick expanded to Houston! It is always a go to stop when we are in San Antonio. Today my husband and I tried the seasonal flavor Peppermint Bark, I’d definitely have it again. One of my favorite flavors is Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint, I only tried it because my daughter wanted to taste the pink ice cream, but I loved its freshness. The prices are higher at Lick than some national chain ice cream stores, but are right on par with other locally made ice cream shops. I really appreciate the lack of artificially dyed and flavored ice creams at Lick and the local sourcing of ingredients.Highly recommend a visit.Kid-friendliness: Sprinkles!

I'm so happy Houston got a Lick Honest Ice Cream, and it's even better that it's in a great location! It's very close to where I live, and it's in a plaza with a HUGE parking lot, so you will never have a problem with parking when coming here. My favorite flavors that I've tried from here are: -coffee with cream -dark chocolate, olive oil, and sea salt -fresh mint and chocolate chunk -Texas sheet cake I definitely want to eventually try each flavor here. These flavors are all super unique and so delicious! Very casual and cute vibes in here too. The workers are also very friendly and helpful. This is a great ice cream spot that I would recommend.

I was at that Lick Honest, God was I there for a surprise. I drove many miles to have the worst ice cream in the face of the earth. When I thought that Blue bell was bad, after tasting that atrocity of an ice cream, i thought blue bell was exquisite! At least 1000 times better that Lick Honest. Seriously . That is a joke.! And here you are reaping the reverse of your false advertising: You advertise as being so good and when people taste your atrocity, it is 100 times more atrocious than if you did not say you are the best. When you are mediocre, the best thing to do is to keep quiet. Hopefully, the disappointed customers will forget about you.
