The wonton soup and fried rice is simply delicious.. every mouthful! We come back here, time, and time again.

Good points : food comes out fast, relatively inexpensive, restaurant looks clean, and the people are nice like a mom and pop shop. However, the flavors are underwhelming. Everything we tried lacks a uniqueness that makes you want to come back for more. Not trying to be mean... but to me it felt like the food was made by someone at home strictly following a average recipe they found online.I would suggest to the restaurant to add chili oil and vinegar to the condiments selection.

First, this is handmade food. If you want fast food, go eat fast food. At busy times you’ll want to be mindful of this fact. Second, the menu is limited. Ling does a few things very well as opposed to giving you a death-by-choice menu and then phoning it in on the quality of hundreds of dishes. If you make it past the first two things that don’t align well with our American sensibilities and expectations, you’ll be treated to high quality well-balanced dumplings and bao. These aren’t artificial flavor bombs so you should expect a modest but balanced profile of flavors. You can taste the dumpling dough, the filling, the seasonings, together with nothing overpowering any of the other flavors. I’m not going to call it health food, but we left here feeling better after eating vs the usual splurge on a meal and feel exhaustion, poverty, and regret. That brings me to my final point; it’s affordable. Two of us spent $25 and left happy.

I got pork dumplings, chicken pan fried dumplings, chicken noodle, fried rice, and tea eggs, all of it was delicious. So their food is awesome, the cashier was super nice, the menu is nice and simple, the place was clean, and the prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for? Btw, I know "tea eggs" sounds a little odd if you've never heard of them, but I highly recommend. They. Are. Epic.
You haven't had dumplings until you've eaten here! Best dumplings in town and excellent service!

Dumplings lacked flavor and complexity. They had a great texture inside. Yet, the taste was very underwhelming. We tried the pork dumplings, the pork buns, the vegetable dumplings, and the vegetable

Everytime I come to order dumplings, I'm told they're making them and it won't be ready for 25 minutes. I'm grateful that food is fresh but I even called ahead the 2nd time to ask if they were ready only to find out that they're actually not once I came in person.I really want to try out the food here but not really interested in waiting 30 minutes.
This place probably has the best dumplings in Houston. Anything you order will taste amazing. Not to mention the prices are very affordable.

Yesterday we were asked to leave earlier as they had to close because they had a catering in the evening. Glad we finished our meal by that time.

The staff are nice, food is cheap, and the food comes fairly fast. That said everything tastes previously frozen and was very bland. The gyoza we buy at HEB has more flavor. We tried a variety of dishes, they ran out of noodle soup and the steamed buns.
