The location is great close to other restaurants and the galleria . The restaurant itself is a nice vibe elegant looking with some soft background music. The service was ok for it being a nice looking restaurant I’d think the waitress come to our table and check on us a bit , but never did I couldn’t order more because she only came once we were done . As for the food the chilaquiles and the banana foster French toast were great the French toast was a little on the sweeter side but delicious, the Canadian bacon eggs Benedict sucked the house potatoes need flavor those were bland and the eggs benedict just tasted like nothing the muffin was tough that dish for sure I wouldn’t get again I don’t recommend it . Overall not a bad place to try out . Definitely a nice different vibe The location is great close to other restaurants and the galleria . wouldn’t work with me on my birthday reservation that just included one more person 3 weeks ahead of time, and i understand space can be tight but i offered my own solutions and still no sorts of effort or accommodations attempted or put forth whatsoever. i’m sure it’s a great place to eat but if you’re making a reservation and have issues the only way you can reserve is online and if u have issues you’re out of luck :( .
The service and food is good but they do not give you any more coffee and if you want to cut the cake you brought, they charge you $10 per person.

Little Hen is like London’s tea time 🫖 has arrived in Houston! (Little did I know they’re from Miami) That being said of many slightly high end restaurants I’m sometimes not satisfied, but with Little hen I am always impressed. Our waitress was so kind, she did sit us right by the door but it’s a small place so we didn’t mind. The tea was a bit watery but I got English breakfast I suggest putting more tea than milk. My rose milk pancakes were delicious and my friend got their Belgium waffle with drizzled dark chocolate. I love rose 🌹 flavored items and the best way I can describe this to a south Asian person is falooda pancakes. I was in love and will be back to bring my mom and grandmother. I would suggest not getting their afternoon tea since I’ve heard it’s not that satisfying and instead getting their entrees, limited drinks, (one tea pot can be enough for two people). Overall 10/10!
If you have ever been to a good high tea place, you are going to be quite disappointed here. You have to pick one kind of tea (no multiple tastes or kettles) which comes in a big pot of tea with one tea bag in it. My English breakfast tea was lukewarm and really light- when I asked them to make it stronger and hotter they told me they would add another tea bag in it but would have to charge me for the extra tea bag!! I guess they can't add another tea bag in the $42 price for the high tea!
The sandwiches that come with the tea are just average and the scones were dry and cold. A good scone is always warm and comes with clotted cream, but not here.
The plastic flowers make the place look nice in pictures but they're fake. Just like their high-tea experience.

We went here for afternoon tea. The food is good, though there is room for improvement. The service was excellent.
However, a couple of things ruined our experience. Firstly, the area around our table was insanely cold. We told our waitress about it but it wasn't much better. Our waitress even told us that other guests have told her the same thing, which means that the management is aware of the problem and has chosen not to resolve it.
Secondly, you get charged for drinking water. Which restaurant does that in Houston? Furthermore, it is another level of shady not to mention it upfront while taking the order.
Finally, I reached out to the management on social media with the concerns before posting them publicly to give them a chance. But they did not respond, so I am guessing they do not care.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful decor inside and out. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict, my sister's had the chicken and waffles and avocado toast which were all equally delicious! 😋

This is an Instagramable place. Nice decoration and a fancy place, but that's about it.
Prices are a bit high, but its in line with the area.
Food is short of extraordinary, sometimes lacking of flavor.
You need a reservation, but it's more like a trendy place rather than a good eatery.

This was such a nice restaurant. I’ve always wanted to try it ever since it popped up on my social media. Their oolong tea was good and their eggs benedict were delicious. I personally really liked their Jalisco spicy mango. (I believe that’s what it was called lol)
Cheri L was our server and she was really sweet and gave me a rose to celebrate my engagement! I will always appreciate that. 🩷🌷

This place is absolutely gorgeous inside & out, every detail was throughly thought out. Customer service was AMAZING! The food definitely tastes of higher quality & locally sourced. We tried the omelette, chicken & waffles, burger, Cuban sandwich & 2 kinds of French toast. Everything was great, 10/10 on the French toast, buttttt the omelette & diced potatoes fell flat with lack of seasoning & just flavor all around. They offer valet, street parking & garage parking. Reservations are strongly encouraged. They have indoor & outdoor seating. Bathroom was clean. Great place for a celebration. Pricing was a little high but that expected for River Oaks.

Such a charming spot — the decor and outdoor garden vibe are absolutely adorable! The drinks were superb, beautifully presented, and tasted just as good as they looked. I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The scone basket was also a standout — soft, warm, and delicious. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and buttery, definitely a must-order if you love breakfast sweets.
The truffle fries were tasty and well-seasoned, though the stuffed hash brown was the only item that felt like it needed a little more seasoning or depth of flavor compared to everything else on the table.
Overall, fantastic food, excellent drinks, and such a cute aesthetic. I’d absolutely come back — especially for brunch and their signature drinks!

Went for tea and had a great time. If you are a Bridgerton fan then you will love this place! The decor is very feminine, from the hanging wisteria above the entrance to the fresh flowers throughout the restaurant. The scones, muffins and homemade orange marmalade are all really good. The French toast and eggs Benedict were also good. Make sure to have your champagne sprayed with rose water, it is definitely a next level treat. Great for tea, lunch or brunch with the girls.
