please improve barista training. $5.95 for a latte is unacceptable when the milk is steamed incorrectly. Too much air pulled in - top inch of cup was pure foam and under the foam the consistency was too thin like water.

I used to stop by and grab a cup of coffee every time I went to the library, but I have decided to stop buying from them because of the rude people in the kitchen.The cashiers are usually nice, but the people who work in the kitchen are so rude. I don’t know why they interact with the customers when their job is only to prepare food.A few months ago, I was spontaneously leaning on the counter waiting for my coffee, and the guy had to tell me not to lean, as if my 120 lbs body would push the counter to fall. However, I gave them another chance until today, when I decided not to enter this place again.Today, I walked inside and was filling my water bottle from the water container on the counter when a worker who works in the kitchen, who is an obese Hispanic woman, told me, “This is not for you to fill your bottle; this is for the customers to drink water. You can fill out water from there,” and she pointed toward the restrooms. Very disrespectful.The only reason they are still in business is their location on campus.

Little Kitchen has some of the best service (and coffee) I’ve ever experienced! As a regular customer, everyone here (especially Gina, David, John, and Rue) has taken the time to get to know me and really make me feel valued. They also make great lattes! 10/10 would recommend :)

I used Little Kitchen HTX as the caterer for a Rice University staff holiday event in Brochstein Pavilion and they were amazing! Becca and her entire team was incredibly patient and helpful in the weeks leading up to the event, especially given how many changes I continually tossed their way. Becca was accommodating and always responsive to any questions, calls, texts, or emails. I appreciated her cheerful demeanor and the helpfulness of her entire staff team on the day of! I seriously underestimated how much would be needed for me to setup exactly what I was intending, and this team came to my rescue happily! I was already impressed with the service, but feel even more in love when I took my first bite! The food was a hit with everyone at the event! It was not only delicious but expertly displayed! I felt they were generous with the portions and lovely from the start to end of our event! I highly recommend Becca and her team as your caterer!
Cook comped my meal when she did not have three items I had requested. They were slammed by Owlcon attendees. I wonder if the student club warned we were coming. Looking forward to trying something new.

I love this place! The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly. The coffee is really good! If you’re an iced latter person, you have to try this spot!!
If you want to get the slowest coffee order, you can visit these guys at Rice campus. I don’t think the crew is aware of this is a business. You can easily wait for 30 mins and then they can ask you if I really ordered the item. Complete lack of coordination. Only reason they are still in business is that they are in a campus and not really competing with anyone.
